Monsters:

User Image
Name: BLUE FLUFF
Description: It doesn’t seem to matter how often you harvest these cute little critters for their cotton fluff, they just seem to appear again from nowhere, like dust bunnies under a bed.
Location: Unknown

User Image
Name: GARLIC
Description: This “stinking rose” has a tendency to belch excessively on anything that startles or annoys it.
Location: Near Bill's Ranch

User Image
Name: ALARM SKEETER
Description: Combining an alarm clock with a mosquito left the world with a critter that possesses the two most annoying sounds in the universe. The Alarmskeeter uses its highly irritating alarms and buzzes to aggravate a target’s inner ear and drive it mad.
Location: Near Bill's Ranch

User Image
Name: LACEBACK BOOTSNAKE
Description: Yes…this creature seems to have once been a rubber boot. And yes…it seems to now be a snake. But it’s NOT “a snake in my boot”…so don’t say that.
Location: Near Bill's Ranch

User Image
Name: CLUTCH
Description: It used to be a lady’s handbag, but the handles became wings and now it flaps about like a bat. Never touch a lady’s clutch. It’s just not polite. And it bites.
Location: Unknown

User Image
Name: OMG
Description: The OMG has all the sympathetic, likeable qualities of a hungry shark. It uses its tail like a whip and it’s a tough cookie, besides. A nasty bit of work, they are.
Location: Unknown

User Image
Name: TINY TERRORS
Description: Nope…we’re not telling you anything about what this monster does or why it looks the way it does…but when you find these little guys running around…watch out! You’re getting into dangerous territory!
Location: Unknown

User Image
Name: KOKESHI DOLL
Description: Seemingly small and innocent, these toy dolls have become…twisted. Watch what they carry. They are NOT your fans.
Location: Unknown

User Image
Name: GHOST LANTERN
Description: Each evening after sunset, these disembodied flames hover in the night air. Why? That would be telling. (And this is just the floating flame right now…not the actual monster). There are other opponents in this area, of course, but we’re not revealing everything yet so that there are still some surprises when you play the game.
Location: Unknown

User Image
Name: PREDATOR PRAIRIE PUP
Description: A scouting party from an highly technological race of beings came to our planet and were stranded here. Unfortunately for them, despite their vastly superior weaponry and armor, they are the size and appearance of small prairie dogs.
Location: Old Aqueduct

User Image
Name: WALKER
Description: This heavily armored creature is able to hurl its main body forward, squeezing out concentrated bursts of organic acid. If that's not bad enough, those big legs end in nasty, sharp points that can spear enemies that get too close.
Location: Unknown

User Image
Name: BIO BUG
Description: Individually, these bio-electrically charged crawling critters wouldn't be so bad. Sure, they can shock you silly...but it's when they swarm as groups that they become truly dangerous. And they *always* swarm as groups.
Location: Unknown

User Image
Name: BRAIN CLAM
Description: These undersea denizens aren’t seen much, and little is known about them except that they tend to sting and paralyze their victims, leaving them unable to struggle as the tentacles slowly reel them in, wrapping them up within the clam shell as it closes. Nasty.
Location: Unknown

User Image
Name: ANCHOR BUG
Description: These bugs lose their head at the slightest aggravation…and then they reel it back in again…and then they lose it again…and then they reel it…okay…you get the point. You might even say that they’re real heavy hitters…but perhaps that’s going a bit too far.
Location: Unknown

User Image
Name: FEATHERED COATL
Description: There is currently no information on this monster.
Location: Otami Ruins
PostPosted: Sun Nov 11, 2007 7:01 am

Map Areas:

User Image
Name: Barton Town
Description: The Town is thriving with not just the various shopkeepers and personalities you already know, but many more characters are being added to make it feel like a thriving village. You’ll be able to spend a lot of time here, in Gaia’s first town.
Monsters: Unknown
NPCs: RINA, NICOLAE, LEON

User Image
Name: The Village Greens
Description: South of Barton Town lie the sprawling suburbs known officially as the “Village Greens”. A walled enclave of private housing (known as the “Towns”) exists here, separated from rolling hills, flower gardens, and the golf course greens after which this area is named.
Monsters: Unknown
NPCs:

User Image
Name: Bill's Ranch
Description: To the west of the Villages are the woods near the cleft hill known as Barton Trench. Carved out of those woods are the pastures and farmlands of Bill’s Ranch. Bill raises cows, chickens and is a famous farmer of garlic. He and his son, Purvis, run the ranch, selling their wares in nearby Barton Town.
Monsters: Garlic, Alarm Skeeter, Laceback Bootsnake
NPCs: PURVIS, RANCHER BILL

User Image
Name: Dead Man's Pass
Description: It's dark. It's gloomy. It's a twisted, creepy mountain above Barton Trench with a house at the top owned by an ancient family that no one sees in the daytime. It's not a popular tourist destination.
Monsters: Unknown
NPCs:

User Image
Name: Zen Gardens
Description: To the west of Barton Town lie the sculpted and manicured Zen Gardens, tended by a family of resident botanists and horticulturists. Koi ponds, bamboo trees and groves of lanterns surround a central contemplation shrine. Famed throughout Gaia, these Gardens are a famous tourist attraction. The woods they border to the west are dense thickets that few people have a reason to brave. The road leading west is the way to Durem.
Monsters: Unknown
NPCs: KATSUMI

User Image
Name: Bassken Lake
Description: The home of some mighty fine fishin’, Bassken Lake feeds Upward Creek that heads toward the forest to the southwest. The old lumber mill here has been closed for some time, but The Ole’ Fishing Hole is still going strong.
Monsters: Unknown
NPCs: BLAZE

User Image
Name: Buccaneer Boardwalk
Description: The old boardwalk here has been purchased by a coalition of pirates and is being renovated for a massive grand opening in the future. Currently, most of the area is still sealed off as the construction continues, but some of what is changing can be seen from the beach, and pirates give hints of things to come.
Monsters: Unknown
NPCs:

User Image
Name: Gold Beach
Description: This popular tourist beach is golden sand next to gentle lagoon-like waves. Surfers paddle far out past the barrier reef to catch the bigger waves there, and they swear that the swim is worth the time. A lighthouse stands high over the beach, warning ships about the reef so they don’t add to the countless shipwrecks found throughout the Shallow Sea.
Monsters: Unknown
NPCs: IKE

User Image
Name: Old Aqueduct
Description: The remains of the old aqueduct that was used before the Durem Reclamation Facility came online are still present here, although dilapidated and fallen now into beautiful ruin. The jungles to the northwest stretch down this far, but have not yet fully consumed the old stones. The Zurg artifact called the Star Portal lies dormant here still, guarded by a handful of ever-present GIB agents.
Monsters: Predator Prairie Pup
NPCs:

User Image
Name: Otami Ruins
Description: Long ago, there was a fierce civilization of warriors that built a huge empire in the area. So ferocious was their society that they tore themselves apart with their constant aggression. Eventually, the people themselves disappeared, leaving only their monolithic statues and ruins behind to tell their story. Jungles overgrow the entire area and what was once a massive city-state is now the home of monkeys and macaws.
Monsters: Feathered Coatl

I was also thinking that when the Battle System comes out I could also make this into a reference for the many types of rings or anything else that would be helpful, like map areas. The first post could be Monsters, the second could be Rings, and this one could be Map Areas. The list of maps could tell about stuff like: what monsters are there, kinds of items, and other stuff like that. I don't really know, what do you guys think?

It looks good right now, but something that would be even more helpful is if you separate the monsters by area. Also, you can go ahead and get started on the other lists if you want. (The BS website has alot of information)

I've made a "Map Areas" thingy, and I used my ninja skills to find three hidden areas. ninja

So anything I can add to it at the moment?

Just checked Qixter's journal, he says that they have added Gold Beach and Buccaneer's Boardwalk.
They've gotten the theme songs for Barton, the Ranch, and the Gardens.
This is his journal.

Very nice, by the way. Only thing i would suggest is a works cited post.

They have quite a few characters, some new. Would you like to add that info, or would you rather someone else do it?

also it would be helpful(if possible) to list each monsters weakness.
PostPosted: Wed Apr 30, 2008 8:28 pm

That's a good idea. I had some of my slot members write about different monsters and their methods of attacking them.
