A song of tragedy and pain filled the air and echoed through the trees. Daea continued to play her flute until she heard a snap of a twig. Turning around she saw nothing but quickly searched the area and found nothing. Returning, she quickly played a small tune and willed an arrow into existance. After reaching for her bow which was always wraped around her should, she shot the arrow. The arrow flew higher and higher into the sky until it waved slightly and then plumeted down to the river. As it drew closer and closer to the surface of the water, a large fish jumped. The arrow pierced the fish and Daea dashed towards to. Once again, she heard another sound and froze, looking in all directions.

Daea looked at Mille for what seemed to be decades, still frozen in complete fear. Snaping out of it, she shook her head for no and quickly reached for her flute. She played a short, discouraging melody then quickly put her flute back in her pocket. For some reason she wasn't quite as fearful as she thought she was going to be. Picking up the fish which was pierced by her arrow, she walked towards the strange person and held out her free hand. Her mind was racing; why was she doing this? why didn't she just run into the woods? why didn't she take precautions before she had come out into the open. Her lips quivered and her tongue slurred her speech from years of neglagence but she manged to say "Daea"

Daea stood there witha puzzled look in her eyes. The war? She hadn't thought about that in ages. "Con...con...Contemno" she managed to barely say. Suddenly her mind began to race again and not thinking straight or what she thought was not thinking straight, she began to backaway from Millie and then sat down as well. She held out the fish she had caught, but then quickly took it back. Offer someone a raw fish!!!! Sure that's real smart!! Daea thought to herself. Turning around and pulling the flute from her pocket she played a rapidly fast tune, so fast it was hard to make out. When she turned back to face Millie, the fish was cooked. Pausing she wondered why she was giving an absolute stranger fish. It wasn't a way to say hello or anything like that! Brushing away the thought she turned her attension back to Mille, "Sside?" she asked, her speach slowly improving

Daea shook her head no. "Help?" she asked, almost as if she had been speaking since she was two. She certainly hadn't meet anyone in years or had gone looking or someone, but none the less she wanted to help for, some odd reason and felt that since she could hunt, and hunting required a lot of searching, she could most definatley help.

Puzzled, Daea looked at the girl with her large eyes then shook her shoulder. "Awake?" She asked "Awake?" she asked louder. How could she just fall asleep just like that? She must be reall tired! she thought then once again shock her shoulder.

Daea looked at her closely then quickly rushed into the woods. She returned after several minutes with a strange bag made of leaves woven together with vines. Opening it, she rumaged through it tryig to find exactly what she needed. "Found it!" she exclaimed as she pulled out a small vile. Grabbing a cup from the bag, she added two drops of liquid from the vile and some water. Waving her free hand extravigantly, she whispered "Awake." She new that this word was not quite as good as someother she could have used but it worked just the same. Waling over to Millie she handed her the cup. "Drink!" she ordered

Millie drank and felt her head clear, though it still ached a slight bit. She was starting to get her senses back and heard someone approaching only a second before she heard them say, "Well hello there." She leapt to her feet despite her friendly nature and put her hand to her back in case there was need of her sword being drawn.

Millie sighed and lowered her sword, "Sorry... I'm used to the war, being all prepared, y'know?" She didn't now if he did but she held out her hand, "I'm Millie." She started, friendily.
