Ok, so I was doing zf an hour or so ago. I'm the only lock in the group, so I made it clear that I would get the bad mojo mask. I had to explain to a mage that he doesn't need shadow damage. We did that cool part with the mobs, then we get to the boss. Kill him, my mask drops. I need, everyone else greeds. The mage doesn't press any of them. He ******** started pissing me off. The f** needs the damn thing. And wins.
It was total bullshit. I'm still pretty pissed off right now. I mean, that's such a b***h move to make, right?

The next time I did it there was a holy pally who wanted to need it, saying that it was gonna get buffed with healing. I looked at the patch notes, I had no idea where the ******** they got their info from, but I ended up getting the ******** idiots.

Shijan Go group with him again, then need everything with fire and frost damage. xD That would be funny.
But yeah, that is crap. I hate people who need things that other people in the group could use more. Maybe the dummy was an enchanter. Enchanters drive me nuts sometimes. -.-

You know, I was joking to my bro about having him run me through stratholme, and bring the mage with us. When we get to the boss that drops the almighty [Elemental Mage Staff], we'd set to master loot, I'd get the staff, show it to the guy in trade, AND DISENCHANT IT. Or I could just use it. As a warlock, I have the right to need it for the fire damage. Gogo Imolate +Conflagrate cool

Oh man, in one of the guilds I'm in we have a player like that. He brings his main in instances and needs a lot of things his character doesn't need or can't use BUT he has an alt that can on the same server. So he needs things and sends it off to his alt.
Or he'd start a group to quest together and then put looting on free for all so he could ninja stuff to send to his alt.
A bunch of us got pissed and finally told him we wouldn't play in a group where he was leader and if he kept needing when he should be greeding, then we'd boot him out of our group for instances. He finally smartened up. Even our long term guildies were getting peeved at his behaviour.
He also has a nasty habit of running off on the group in instances, so we finally told him if he did that he was on his own. We weren't going to run in and save the day. After a few times dying he smartened up there too.
Sheesh.

Yeah the most you can do is tell his guild--sometimes they don't care. A lot of people do that in the lowbie instances because they think it doesn't matter.

He's also really good friends with the person who is our guild leader so he gets to stay. But he's toned down the attidude tremendously. I believe a few folks in the guild have had long chats with him and he wasn't invited to instances for a long time. I still won't do instances with him as leader, but the last one he came along on as a back up tank he was very good about needing/greeding. And not once did he run off on his own.
