i can't even imagine how different things MIGHT have been... or if it would have affected the future of the band, or maybe... just maybe it could have prolonged or shorten Jim's life.
I'm a firm believer that every action has a consequence.
Oh man, my brain is going crazy thinking of all the possible outcomes...

Woodstock was for the music and most of the greatest bands and preformers of the late 60's were there. So had The Doors been there it just would've added to the long list of bands and preformers..... and the concert would've been even better! ^_^

I read that they didn't wish to perform at Woodstock because Jim was afraid that someone was going to take a shot at him. They were invited numerous times, though.

I never saw the whole movie, just bits and pieces of it, but what I saw wasn't that bad, although Ray Manzarek refused to make an appearance in the movie because he said it was a horrid depiction of what Jim Morrison and the band were all about...
Yeah, not Woodstock-related. Sorry, will shut up.

who would shoot him at a convention of peace love and music?
and eh, woodstocks pretty cool I guess. I was watching the movie after I smoked two blunts (not at the same time though), and me and my boyfriend and two other people were just like, OMG THAT GUYS BLITTED, LIKE US!! and wondering what everyone was tripping on.
I dunno, it wouldv'e been sweet to go, just to hang out half naked and trip on acid for a couple days and just meet amazing people. When I think about Woodstock though I like never think of the music haha
