Well, i've been playing guitar for almost 4 months now, and now that i've gotten past the basics and stuff i've started messing around an have figured out that i need an electric.

I'm planning on purchasing an electric soon (i currently have a nylon string acoustic),and was just wondering what are some good qaulity brands (prefferably with models under $500, im not a rich kid.)?
