Alright XD I'll start~ So, first to note, I'm going to base my characters appearance mostly on my avis. As such, long dark hair, eyepatch and scar...
Now, I have an explanation for the eyepatch, with him being born blind on one eye. And I know that he'll still be twins with Aylin, though they might not see each other often during their times as humans, let alone live together.
Tamati'll also have been a vampire hunter before being turned, but I am not sure what sort of reason he'd have. It's in his personality that he enjoys the whole adrenalie kicks of fighting and hunting and that stuff... but still, I wouldnt know why he'd be focused on vampires yet... or how he got the scar..mhh...

That sounds good so far, Tamati. He sounds like he'll be an interesting character to play with heart
As for me, I wrote up a few things for my character last night. I know the character template isn't done yet, so I just put in a few basic things. Please let me know what you think:
He starts out as a fifteen year old human, or maybe only fourteen. I haven't decided yet.
His personality is going to be very honest and humble, and though he's smart in most ways, he's also very naive and trusting. He tends to become emotionally dependent on those he gets close to.
Strengths: Excellent at healing, and very quick. He is proficient in using a staff and knives in battle, but is much more of a defensive fighter. Weaknesses: He doesn't have much in the way of endurance, and isn't very strong.
Background: The youngest of five children born to Cassandra Winterborn. The first ten years of his life were simple and happy enough, though when his mother fell ill, he and his siblings were sent to live temporarily at the church that his mother was a member of. Iris enjoyed living there, singing hymns, playing the organ, helping clean the church, reading scriptures, and learning to heal people. He became a devout little monk-in-training. Soon his brother and sisters were old enough to leave, and did so, but Iris decided to stay and keep up his duties at the church. He always found himself interested in darker forces, however, being drawn to vampire lore and the like. As such, when the Vampire Wars broke out, though most abandoned the church, Iris remained, allowing people on either side to take sanctuary inside the cathedral's walls.

Thanks Iris, I really love your character so far =oo
I'm thinking of making Tamati hunt Vampires rather out of envy and pride than fear or hatred. XD Like hearing of their skills and strengths and out of a sort of competition thought wants to just be better than them. His awake times turn around so he's always asleep all day and up all night to be able to catch one eventually, since there's no better way to prove he is stronger than them.
As far as strengths and weaknesses go... Though Tamati is a strong fighter, his attacks are purely offensive and he leaves a lot of opening because he is too careless and pumped up by the adrenaline. So while he can fight for a short time with full force, as soon as he is out of the immediate danger and his mind recognises any wounds he is greatly weakened. So basicly, while he can deal great damage he's also wounded fast.

I wonder when more people are going to post their characters. >_>

Hmmm, still confused about the exact origins of my character due to the voting, but basically here goes.
Celene is the b*****d child of an male Elder vampire and a sickly female human. She was raised by her mother until the age of twelve, when her mother died due to her sick nature. She was taken in by family of the Elder vampire, though not by the father himself. There she learn all she could of vampire life, customs, and battle strategies. She hopes to become an adviser.
Although she's physically weak due to her mother's bad health, she's an asset to any team due to her knowledge and 'street smarts'.
I'm not sure about her appearance, I want something weak boned, but with a strong personality... anyways, what do you think?

I like her so far, Punkhime. I agree, having someone who could act as an advisor, tactician and general source of knowlege for the team would be excellent. 3nodding

I should ask people's opinion on my character and see if it's alright. Especially since I MADE the thread. sweatdrop
I wanted Panda's origin's to be pretty normal for the Gaian world. She isn't a fighter physically, but she can fight mentally. She is GREAT at arguing other people inside-out. She also has good organizational skills and can take charge of little tasks. (Sound familiar?) The best she can do physically is go for obvious weak spots. She sees no reason to "fight fair." Watch out all you male types and your "dangly bits." Easy target.
She will be a totally new vampire once the RP begins, so she will be pretty weak. And one thing I wanted was for her to have incredible trouble learning new skills. She is so in control of herself normally, to have something she just can't get a grip on will be hilarious. Lots of cursing will ensue, I promise you that.
I will RP her as my Gaia avatar, strange as that may be. Eventually I hope she can learn to control a bat (like there is in my avatar). Well, not really control. I want the bat to have a total attitude and basically yell at her for her incompetence all the time. Then Panda will get the baseball bat and start chasing her flying bat around the coven screaming bloody murder. But they really love each other deep down. Really. Don't you believe me? rofl
So something like that. What do you guys think?
I'm not the only one seeing this, right?

Aylin Lily Pendragon Vice Captain

Panda sounds absolutely wonderful. <3
Hmm Aylin is quite a complicated character, For one there is the small fact that she used to be a man. She for some reason has the ability to shape-shift from childhood. But that's the -only- semi magical ability she has. Aylin fails at anything magical/mystical.
Give the girl a wrench and some bits of metal and she could get you a fully working airship. Ask her to read minds or tell the future like a real gypsy and she's fumble about not knowing what the fluff your talking about.
Aylin has incredible scientific mind that focus on alternate energy sources and with the hobby of Steam-punk mechanics. However she is also very emotional fragile. One p***k on her little heart and it'll go to pieces. The last person who broke it (Funnily enough just before she became a vampire) Aylin was left emotionally comatose. It was only when threatened with her daughter Mana being taken away did she snap out of it.
A warrior through and through. Like her bother she's a bit -too- found of sharp pointy things. Aylin likes to get up close when fighting, but a little less adrenaline pumped then her brother. In fact fighting has the opposite affect on this albino. Making her scarily calm and collected.
She was turned roughly a month before Tama and was exploring a different world. (After experiencing life as a Zurg the gypsy-like Albino liked the idea of world hopping and thus made her ship the bar with wings outer-world safe.)
Short version: Short Albino Warrior woman who can't seem to stay in one place for more then a year. Although after becoming a vampire and returning from the guild-wars world she has become ...different in that way.

You treat her like a queen And hand her everything Thanks Iris. By the way, yours is my favorite. I love that whole religious-gone-dark outlook. I also love that your character is good to those on both sides. I'm want my character to hate her own kind a bit.
Tamati, I also like your idea of the turned vampire hunter. Although why he would have turned is a bit odd. But the scare is a definite plus in his personality.
Panda, your character seems as if she'd be in constant arguments with mine. 4laugh I love her already! I also believe the whole bat thing would add a bit of comical touch when in serious troubles. Her personality kinda reminds me of Naruto's... xp
Aylin Lily, your character does seem complicated. I can see allot of monologue in your future.... and I also see allot of indecision, fighting between her personal needs and the needs of her child. Although she'd be a great mother, she would also have to restrain herself allot.
You ignore me, you ignore me

As for Tamati being turned,.. I am a little unsure on that still. I know that the person turning him will not take care of him and pretty much just leave him. And he'll have been beaten to a pulp before being turned too...the turning itself, both being bitten would and drinking the blood would probably happen with him being in a somewhat unconscious state.
I'm having a few ideas on the reasoning.
1. A Vampire wants to get rid of him as hunter either way: a.) Either by turning him and thus forcing him to either hunt 'his own kind' or humans, which would prolly not please him too much, since hunting vampires was his way of taking out some of his bloodlusty needs without getting in trouble... b.) Or by turning him and just leaving him somewhere outside, hoping he won't regenerate and realise what happened soon enough before the sun comes up to kill him, since he'd be completly newly turned.
2. A Vampire, maybe one Tamati'd been stalking, forces him to see that they are not just monsters by making them one of them. Maybe also show him they're not almighty and that they do have a conscience, not deserving to be hunted.
3. Vampire sees his "potential" and thus turns him...
4. Tamati somehow slips during a fight that he is quite jealous of their skills and would actually not mind having their strenghts (completly disregarding their weaknesses) and after the fight which Tamati'd loose, probably if it went on for too long, he'd be asked if he wants to be turned or be left to die. He'd suck up his pride and choose to live on as vampire in that case. The vampire's condition'd be that he will not help him once turned..
2 and 3 wouldnt explain why he was left though, though it could be to either test him (3) or to show him exactly the limitatins of vampirism and that especially the early days are hard for lone vampires (2). Mhhhh, though in general I'd understand though why a vampire turning their own hunter would not exactly want to take care of him,... xD
And eeeeeee <3 Panda your bat thing reminds me of this Manga I read a while back... what was it called... 1000 years of snow?

Hmmm. Tamati... for some reason, reason 1 (b) just catches my eye.
Being left when the sun is soon to rise would give someone else's character a chance to pick up Tamati and take care of him. Bring him to the coven and help him learn the ways of the vampire. It would actually be a great way to introduce him to the coven, perhaps?
I haven't even started thinking of my character, either. >.< *head-desk* I was hoping to create someone great with magic, but totally stupid with hand-to-hand. I dunno if she's gonna be turned or not, though. I really haven't thought /at all/ about her until now.
>.> *pets her turkey and pumpkin pie* My thoughts have been... clouded. Yea. <.<
Perhaps a little help? I'm always coming up with very cliche characters and I don't want this one to be so. D:

You treat her like a queenAnd hand her everythingWell, not one person has decided to be a strong vampire. xd And if this is about as many people as we have as of now, we seem to be a very small and weak clan. Maybe I should get one of my mules to play an elder? I dont know if I could handle it all the time, maybe I'll give the password to one other player so that when I'm offline they can use the elder.... Sort of like a NPC, exept its played.... but will only serve to further the story. Dont know...random thoughts...
Yes! I thought exactly that when I read panda's bat description! Only now its translated by Viz and called Millennium Snow. Its by the same creator of Ouran High School Host Club.
And explanation 1 does jump out at me also. It just seems more dramatic. You ignore me, you ignore me

It's funny you say that, seeing as I can barely stand manga and anime anymore. I've never even read Naruto. rofl
You know, 1b for Tamati could work without an Elder. One of us could save him. That would be an interesting way to get my character involved in the coven, since she is being turned after and has no connections to vampires beforehand. Panda could come through after the vampire leaves Tamati for dead and drag him away. I could encounter Celene, who realizes what is happening and tells us that Tamati has to be brought somewhere safe before dawn. (Especially since she is the only one with tons of vampire knowledge up to this point.) Maybe we go to Iris for a safe haven.
That builds some coven connections right from the start and we can keep going from there.
Also, about the weak coven thing: I think it's interesting. Each of us has a different strength and I think if we work together, our characters make a strong group. It just shows that we need to defend each other and help each other grow stronger for the safety of all of us. We just have to use our bonds to defeat enemies instead of just going at it individually. To have no super-strong Elder might make things more interesting for us.
I'm not the only one seeing this, right?

Ooooh. Yea. I like the idea of all of us being slightly weak. It'll definitely help us work closely together and form a stronger bond with the coven.
I love the bat idea. *can actually imagine a vampire chasing her bat around the coven with a dangerous object, yelling* Hehe. Makes me giggle every time.
