I found out about these guys on Saturday night and found that they are a hometown band so to speak, so I figured I'd post a little bit about them.

TTD is a Power Metal band from my area that formed back in 1995 to counteract the fact that metal was being suffocated by mainstream pop culture. In 1999 after releasing demo tapes and splits with other artists, TTD finally released their debut album: The Curse Of Twisted Tower. This album won them a loyal fan base and shortly after they embarked on their own self-financed world tour to support it.

In 2001, they released their follow up album: Isle of Hydra and once again did extensive touring in support that included a headlining spot at Headbangers Open Air Festival in Germany.

May 2003 saw the release of Crest of The Martyrs and was given the distinction of being given a spot on Terrorizer Magazine's "Top 20 Power Metal Albums of All Time". As with all previous releases, they toured through out Europe.

Over the next few years, more tours were given and in February 2007, they released their latest work: Netherworlds.

I'm liking their song Axes and Honor (For some reason it sounds like beowulf) I love that you can understand the lyrics and the miltary theme.

Though it has this over all 80s (not a bad thing at all) feel but it might just be that song.

Over all pretty cool.

I like Guardian Bloodline, the guitar really kicks a**.

It does have that 80's feel, but it's still kick a**.
