This is where all the current production mechs of the Army are going to be kept.

Other Data: The Commando is a staple of every army´s fighting force. They are a mainly a cheaply created machine, there are millions of units spread thoughout the universe.

In terms of design, the Commando is a very robust machine. It can take a fair ammount of damage, though replacment parts are easy to find anyway. It is armored in a very normal way, more of the armor being concentrated on the torso than any other part of the body.

For many pilots, this is the first mech they tried their hand at. It is a very forgiving machine. As such, it holds a special place in many pilots´ hearts. Most of the time, it is a highly customized machine. There are many after production addons that can be bought and added.

ST: The Commando ST is created by adding multiple items onto the basic structure of the main production machine. First off, a large backpack like system is mounted to its back. Contained inside are the main thruster and also a few directional thrusters. This enables the machine to move around in space with nearly unhindered movement. Also, the reactor is throttled up slightly, as space is cold enough to allow it.

A standarized medium assualt rifle

2x Missle racks:
20 missles each, located behind panels in the shoulder area

Beam saber:
Used for ground combat

Equipment:

Multiple sensor suites: Night vision, infared, radar, and normal cameras

Specialized targetting sensors: Designed for air to ground targetting, software fix for air to air

Extended range comm systems: Extended range as the Artemis is intended for air travel

Max. Speed: 70 mph / 550 mph in air

Optimum speed: 60 mph / 430 mph in air

Jump Jet ceiling: 3 miles

Other Data: The Artemis is an attempt to create a production mech intended for air travel. The armor is very thin, the bulk of it located around the torso of the machine.

It doesn´t reach to speed or height nearly of the Phoenix, as the gravity drive create so much heat. It isn´t possible dump enough heat to allow for the performance of the Phoenix.

The Artemis is used more as a scout mech than a fighting mech, due to its lack of armor. It is prized for its maneuverability in the air, making it good for pin point strikes. The missles stored in its shoulder are mainly used for air to air combat, but are also able to be used against ground targets.

Status: Production Mech

Class: Light Armor

Seats: 1

Height: 15 ft.

Weight: 15 tons

Lifting weight: 2.5 tons

Arament: Two beam daggers (High-output), beam saber, beam bow (50 arrow quiver).

Other features: Adaptive camoflague cloak. The cloak has many functions, the main one used for blending seamlessly into the background. The cloak is radar absorbing and also makes a belivable heat signature of its surroundings. This removes any trace of it in almost any environment. The cloak is mainly made of woven metal, letting it drap like cloth but, resist attacks like armor. It also aborbs many forms of beam weapons, excluding beam sabers as the energy is too concentrated for that. The paint for the Mecha is designed to beam also beam reflective, not as good as the cloak however.

Max. Speed: 80 mph

Optimum speed: 70 mph

Jump Jet ceiling: 50 ft

Other Data: This Mecha is designed for quick, surgical strikes against the enemy. It is one of the faster Mecha that are used today. This version is for close combat only. It does not have any projectile weapons in its arament and must have a hand-to-hand expert pilot to be effective. The beam daggers subsitute length for power, able to cut through many forms of armor quickly. The beam saber is mainly for a slightly longer reach on the cutting implements. The cloak of the Mecha is its main defense and allows it to blend into anything, in almost any spectrum. The jump jets are able to only make this Mecha hop into the air, allowing it to try to get behind its foe.

The beam bow is comprised of mostly metal, only the bowstring is made from energy. Arrows for the bow are expensive but, are designed for many uses. One type is just a solid shaft, used against tanks and such. Another type explodes on contact, used against more armored foes. There are other types that are mainly customized by the pilot himself.

Discription: The Assasin Mecha is shorter than many others, mainly allowing it to hide better. The color scheme is not very interesting as the beam reflective paint is only made in black and a few brighter colors. Black is the standard color for this Mecha. The cloak covers almost everything, even with the hood down. When the hood is down, the cloak comes up to just under the main cameras. When the hood is up, it covers everything except the main cameras. The beam daggers are stored on the hips of the Mecha and the beam saber is right behind the head, with about half of the hilt showing.

Arament: This version of the Assasin only carries one high-output dagger. It also has the beam saber as the secondary arament. As its long range weapon, it has a high-powered sniper rifle with many different filters on the scope.

Other Data: This Mech is designed for long range combat specialization. It has fine servos on its joints to allow for very fine adjustments to its rifle when in use. The rifle's scope tracks up to five targets and also has an auto-aim feature. As it is designed for long range, it has superb cloaking skills and has many radar types installed.

High powered booster to increase maximum speed.

1x Light Beam Cannon:
Under powered beam cannon, mounted just above boosters. Must be retracted to use booster system.

Light Armor

2x Light Gattling Gun:
Mounted on the back of the GW, fires at a rate of 500 rounds a minute. Ammo drum holds 6000 rounds, cannot be reloaded without a refitting station. Guns slaved together, mounted side by side.

Light Artillery

2x Light Cannons:
Used for short range artillery shells, fires of a rate of 5 rounds a minute. Shell racks hold 20 shells, racks can be ejected when empty. Cannot be reloaded without refitting station.

Heavy Artillery:

1x Long Range Cannon:
Massive cannon, can fire at a rate of 2 rounds a minute. Shell racks hold 5 rounds each, 2 racks on either side of machine.

Max. Speed: 500 mph (Scout, with boosters); 150 mph (Light Armor); 100 mph (Light Artillery); 60 mph (Heavy Artillery)

Other Data: The Phoenix is seen on nearly every battle field. Robust and fast, it is loved by fighter jockeys throughout the universe. Massive lifting strength allows for much modification of the machine, also used to drop over mechs into the thick of battle.

The Gravity Drive contained in the Phoenix is considered overly powerful, and it also creates a massive ammount of heat. The wings contain the extensive cooling system, the feathers act as heat sinks. The cooling liquid is pumped through the wings and into the feathers. As it flys, the heat is sucked out of the feathers and then the liquid is circulated through a conventional system. As the feathers heat up quickly, it looks like the Phoenix is on fire through infared sensors. This, however, poses a problem when heat seeking missles enter the battle.

Thankfully, the Phoenix is able to outrun nearly any missle on the market. The richer militaries have counter measures for this, creating missles that can easily out strip the Phoenix. Thus, flak canisters have been added to the standard equipment loadout.

Other Data:Torso contains the heavy armored cockpit, the torso also humanoid. The lower body can hover but, legs also unfurl to walk. The Jets can force the mecha to 70 mph in hover mode only. Has advanced targeting and night vision.
