My second contest. Now, anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE the movie National Treasure. That movie is one of the places I came up with the idea for this contest. Each time a new contest begins I will post an article. after the article, you will find a question and an Ottendorf cipher afterwards. Numerous posts will follow, consisting of past entrants, past questions, Articles, and Ciphers. Current prizes, past prizes, deadline, past deadlines, polls, and past polls. And to warn you all now, most of the time, things will be music related unless they are submitted by other members. Now, We shall have the rules to this here contest:
1] This contest has no Entry fee, considering there would be no way to coordinate the contestants, its first come, first serve!
2] If you win three contests straight, you may not participate in the fourth contest after your three straight victories. If you participate just for something to do, by all means, have at it.
3] Post your answers in this thread, and how you followed to get to the question. First person to post the correct process, and the correct answer wins. Post what thread you went to, what it told you to do or ask you, then the next one it brought you to, and however many it takes you to, then the answer when you finish.
4] This contest will lead you to numerous places in this guild, so please do not become frustrated and attack anyone in the guild for figuring it out before you. Be a good sport!
5] This is the Big 'un: HAVE FUN! This contest will have prizes, yes, but it will be small prizes like 1-5K in gold or an item worth about that much (Unless a very difficult code is created).
I want to remind everyone that in the second cipher, 0 wil be the original post, 1 will actually refer to the second post, 2 to the third, 3 to the fourth, 4 to the fifth, etc.

I shall explain all of the contents below
GaiaName :: your Gaia screename
Contest Article :: insert the article you want to use to kick off the contest
Number Of Ciphers :: The number of places you want to send people
Location(s) of Cipher(s) in Order :: Your article will be placed in the second thread, and after that you may choose what thread(s) in the guild the members need to go to to get the next piece of direction or the question
Cipher(s) in Order :: The first cipher will consist of 3 numbers: the first number will be the number line in the article, the second the number of the word in that line, and the third the number of the letter. After that, there will be 4 numbers: The number of the post (the cipher will be in post 0, or the first post. Remember, on page one there are posts 0-14), the number line in the post, the number word in the line, and the number letter in the word.
Answer to Question :: In your last cipher, you will have to have a question, which the contestants will answer.
Prize :: Put the prize you will be giving to the first person to win the contest.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: In order to be able to participate in any Ottendorf Cipher posted in this thread and not end up with translating it into a load of gibberish, you must have your screen resolution set to 1024 X 768, or else you will end up with the wrong number of lines and therefore an incorrect translation.
