Hello. Im 17, and pregnant. (34 MORE DAYS! biggrin ) I am sick of hearing, when I tell someone that im expecting, then I tell them my age, they say "Oh, Im so sorry." Like, come on! Don't automatically expect that just because Im 17 and pregnant doesn't mean Im depressed about it. Sure, he wasn't planned, but that doesn't mean Im at all less excited. I come from a wealthy family, my bf didn't run away, he lives with me, and I cannot wait to bring my lnew life into this world.
Teen/young moms, does this happen to you? If so, how does it make you feel?

"Oh, I'm sorry there will be a new life in the world."
Our moral values are pretty retarded.

divineseraph- love your sig
babies are a big deal and I think most of the world just doesnt know how to handle the news. I wish ppl could see how much of a blessing children are, doesnt matter what situation they are born in.
Im single and living with my parents, I dont have much and a lot of family is dissapointed in me. but I dont pay them any mind because I have to live my life and they need to just live theirs.
one of my friends tried to compare me to Juno (if you dont know its a movie about a teen girl who gets preggers and decides to give the baby up for adoption, and her bf stays with her). I was pretty pissed cuz the only thing me and the chick have in common is that we are pregnant. a lot pf ppl are just very disconnected from what being pregnant and being a parent is all about.
