WORLD REGENESIS ORGANIZATION
INTRODUCTION
This sub-forum hosts the latest super-corporation to take over the Planet in the wake of the Shin-Ra Electric Power Co.'s inevitable downfall: the World Regenesis Organization, or "W.R.O." for short. This area will be dedicated to an inner look at the supposed workings of the W.R.O building. Though it is never specifically mentioned where the W.R.O headquarters is located, it is assumed it is built in the vicinity of the town of Edge, upon the outskirts of Midgar.
HISTORY
The World Regenesis Organization is privately funded volunteer organization started after the Meteor Crisis in hopes of helping to rebuild any destroyed towns, and so on. However, the W.R.O acts also as a fighting force, creating a volunteer army to fight against new enemies that begin to appear.
W.R.O opperatives are both male and female, and can be identified by the uniforms they wear. The main part of the uniform is white, accented by reddish-orange lines, as well as a helmet of the same color. They are also seen armed with rifles.
More information will be provided as the storyline advances.
THE TURKS AND W.R.O.
Although originally thought that the Turks would have died out in both title and substance, certain key events (hosted solely in this RP's plotline) have inevitably led them to aid the W.R.O. and it's leader, who is none other than "Commissioner" Reeve Tuesti.
Unable to leave behind the name that they've worked under so long, their purpose has nevertheless been shifted to a more Planet and public-friendly view, though... old habits do die hard. They are still wrapped up in their own elitist efforts, bent more on adapting to their changing world than than anything else.
SOLDIERS AND W.R.O.
SOLDIER had been long forgotten by the time the W.R.O. came into existence, most of them returning to their own homes and leading lives as normal as they could. Thus, the armed forces of the W.R.O. are no longer referred to by the SOLDIER title, bearing no genetic alterations in the least, and aided only by what weaponry could be afforded them.
Their training is vague, but can be assumed to be far below that of SOLDIER standards, placing them below even the power and expertise of the remaining Turks. The typical W.R.O. soldier is strictly a volunteer, and is so for however long he/she wishes to remain a part of the organization's efforts.
