Gaara from Naruto is a ninja of the sand village with a tenuki (or raccoon dog) demon sealed inside of him. Although he doesn't have as great of speed as some ninjas because of a giant gourd full of sand he carries with him, he can use his sand (or any sand) to crush, tear at and mutilate foes. On the defense side, he can use the sand as a shield. He has been shown to block things that could otherwise pierce three inches of steal.

His three main weapons would be sand coffin, which crushes the opponent, and a sand storm attack.

Now, how do you think he'd fare against Trish of DMC, whose attacks are based on lightning but who is faster and probably has higher stores of energy/chakra/lifeforce?

Naruto characters=can't dodge bullets so sayeth Kishimoto.

Ergo, he blinks, Trish headshots, Trish wins.

Also, according to Narutoverse Lightning is strong against Earth, and Trish just happens to be able to channel and blast lightning...

Mmmm, I wouldn't count Gaara out just because of guns. Gaara was slammed to the ground by Rock Lee traveling at the speed of sound, and the impact caused a giant crater in the ground, but Gaara's Armor of Sand was still able to protect him. I think, if it can protect him from an attack that rips away the earth and causes craters, it can protect Gaara from bullets. For a while anyway.

But yeah, even then, I'd have to give this to Trish. She's practically a devil. Gaara just doesn't have the kind of power to match her.

Rock Lee was not travelling at the speed of sound. No character from Naruto can or will ever move that fast, something that the creator said.

Lee was simply moving too fast for the human eye to see, and even then it was only with the gates opened that he really started to move fast. Before the gates were opened he was still shooting into view now and then when he went to attack Gaara.

The penetration level of a bullet potentially charged with lightning would simply ignore the armour of sand Gaara has. As we know that in Narutoverse Lightning>Earth the elemental properties of the fight are tipped quite badly against Gaara. Only if Gaara immediately went to full Ichibi form could he stand a chance and even then it'd be close due to the advantages Trish would enjoy. It's probable she'd simply zap him and blast through the sand to get to him.

Also Trish is a devil, not just practically one.

Curious question, when in Naruto do they ever talk about the elements having dominance over one another?

In the manga following the timeskip, Kakashi explains nature manipulation during Naruto's training to complete the Rasengan so it's a fully complete jutsu rather than a half complete one. Dunno if you've read the manga that far though ^_^;

Spoiled! Spoiled! All spoiled... Oh well.
Well, i tried to give Gaara atleast a fighting chance, but I suppose it wasn't enough.

Oh, that's close... I'm going to have to say Gaara on this one, though. Gaara may not be able to dodge bullets, but his sand can block it before it gets to him. Also, I don't think Gaara's going to give her much time to come up with any decent attack (decent for her, I mean. She doesn't have anything in her arsenal that isn't a total a**-kicking), and she wouldn't be able to get close enough for a good attack.

Hence, Gaara.
