I tried bass flute but people would rather play bass than alto since alto is somewhat harder so I play alto in the symphonic band flute choir and then since I'm playing flute in wind ensemble and I'm first chair, I play piccolo in the wind ensemble flute choir (I play oboe in symphonic band btw)

woah i never even saw one that's hudge! doesn't ur arm hurt. my arm gets tired after playing for an hour with a regular flute

I want to at least try one. But their sound just kind of...fades away, it doesn't really carry anywhere.

I want one really bad, but considering that that thing looks like it's as big as I am, it's unlikely. Where can you even try them?
