This post will be used for all updates outside of the pride, like in real life for example. If Rini and I must leave for any given reason, or something drastic happened/is happening to the pride, it will be posted in here. If you are going away on vacation, make an announcement in the pride and I will post it up here.  Recent Alerts:• November 17, 2007: ZOMG! Kaoru finally decided to put all other things aside to make this pride for her army baby and his mate! We recently snagged a breeding slot from the one and only Tudora, so I wanted to provide the cubs with a place to call home when they arrive. It should be open by sometime tonight, so keep watch!

You have reached one of the most important sections of this Pride. The words listed below are the orders you must memorize and follow. Failure to do so will result in harsh consequences, or permanent exile from Behind Enemy Lines. General • No complaining• Follow Gaia's TOS and the Pride Land Rules• Whatever Kaoru and Rini say, goes• PM Kaoru with joining forms, but NOT until after either the King or Queen have allowed your lion to stay!• Post questions in the thread please! There is no such thing as a stupid question, PMing Rini or Kaoru isn't really necessary• Limit grammar mistakes/typos as best you can please• More will be added when needed. Pride Rules • Males are allowed into the Pride• Though this pride looks like everything should be done military style, you do NOT have to role play that way. The army stuff was a just a nice theme for the pride seeing Griffin is a war lion.• Males in the Pride may not challenge the king for kingship, same goes for the lionesses and the Queen• Males may leave the pride at any time, but must talk to either king or queen via RP, just to keep things organized• Females must ask permission before leaving the pride, and provide a reason• Female lions that have found a mate and wish to leave the pride, must introduce their new found love to the King. However, the male lion must wait at the border. They can either call for the King, or the female may retrieve him• Males that wish to join the Pride must also wait at the border and call for the King. If they step into the Pride Lands without permission, this could be posed as a threat to the King and he can/may attack• The king has the right to challenge anyone he sees as a threat• There will be no killing of lions• Elders/Leaders shall be respected, and give Respect• In the event of the king/queen dying (not by another lion however)/abandoning pride/become unavailable, Royals directly related to the King and Queen may be contacted to take the place of their parents to lead the Pride Role Playing • When role playing your lion, one-liners are discouraged, but not entirely banned. Everyone has writer's block, right? ^^• Proper Role play is in third person, NOT first person or asterisks• Griffin and Areli are your King and Queen, your lion must listen to both of them. It is how Pride's work in the Pride Land's and in real life• We understand that lions and lionesses will disagree, but try and keep fighting to a minimum• Color coding your lion when role playing them is nice. For example: Say you have a blue lion, when they talk have your font blue (most of you already do this or know what I am talking about so yeah)• More will be added when needed Out of Character (OOC) • When posting OOC posts in (()) brackets please! This is very important. It is rude to walk in and start talking during role playing. It confuses you and the other people and makes things disorganized• Do not fight in the thread OOC, the less drama the better. If you are disagreeing with someone over personal things, take it to PMs. If it has to do with the pride, come to Rini or Kaoru and we can work it out with you and the other person(s)• Limit OOC• If you are talking OOC, try and stay on topic. All other discussion can be saved for the Pride Land's thread or PM's or whatever else. Name Meaning: I have a friend named Griffin, who is currently in Iraq right now as I type this. I saw this cub and had to get him, guess I was meant to because I made it in time ^ ^

History: Griffin was born into war. His parents were both used in the military as war-lions, able to kill an enemy at the blink of an eye. His mother and father were the two strongest lions in the force, so the humans thought breeding them would be a good idea. His mother had a litter of three, two in which died from birth defects of the chemicals enhancements their parents were given to fight; Griffin was the only cub who survived. He was only a few days old when he was taken from his parents, ready to undergo the same enhancements they did. Luckily, a new battle formed and he was put aside until after. Griffin was old enough to understand some thing and he knew what would happen to him; his mother prepared him. What he didn't know was his parents were recently killed in the new raging war. The cub was forgotten about and eventually, he escaped. He was a survivor however, and found his way into Pride Lands without any trouble.
Personality: Griffin is a LOT bigger than the average lion, he is huge. His parents were both war lions, the two best and two biggest. Though despite his large self this lion is anything but mean. Griffin has a very big heart and is one that takes the time to listen to others, then offer alternatives if needed. He's a sucker for kind words and it's pretty funny when he become embarrassed by something. He rather talk things out instead of physically fighting, partially because he knows he would probably really hurt or even kill his opponent. He like to take things easy and just takes what is thrown at him. He won't stand for bullies and is the one to go to if needing protection. Griffin is very protective of the ones he loves and even though he may be somewhat of a softly, it doesn't mean he won't get mad.
Skills: Very strong and very defensive, he will protect the ones he loves with all he is. However, even for a lion as big and as strong as he is, he rather use his mind and words rather than his teeth and claws. If he can avoid a fight, he will. Because of his size he is very intimidating to others around him, which can come in handy in certain situations. He also knows a lot more about humans than some of the other lions as well; a lot of the tools/weapons humans used and such.The Queen  Name: Areli

Personality: Areli's personality... it depends. Sometimes, this lioness can be mean and nasty to someone, but thats not often. Most of the time, this lioness is sweet and caring, and very playful... Yet she still has a slight... Mischievous side to her.. that sometimes gets her in trouble, but not alot.

Think you have a lion you wish to recruit into Enemy Lines? It's simple really, a little bit of role play and a PM containing a form is all that needs to be done in order to complete the transactions.  Through 3rd person role play, your lion must approach the boarder and call for the King or Queen in some way or another. He or she may cross the boarder, but don't say I didn't warn you. Crossing over lines of territory is a huge risk, especially when dealing with a protective war-lion like Griffin. So if you wish to stay on his good side and not pose yourself as a threat, calling for him would be best. It is, however, your choice.
Once that is complete and you have been accepted into the pride, a little bit of information will be needed in order to make everything official. Copy and paste the following code into a PM and send it to Kaoru-san305. By doing this, your lion will have his/her picture put up on the front page as well as a short biography.[color= Your Lion's Font color here]
