Kristen Stewart has been cast as Bella!!
Production of the film will begin in Febuary! Everyone, it is official!! Twilight the movie is coming to life!

and they also have an edward now , alot of people dont like him but now i can see him playing edward and edward is . . . . .
Robert Patterson( however you spell it) he playes cedric out of harry potter for people who dont know who he is. thats who edward is

I have an update about the movie. It will be filmed in Portland, Oregon. They are also having open casting calls for a "Native American Teen" to play Jacob.

and can drive in a scene, should bring their vehicle to the casting so we can take a

that the majority of vehicles used will be in small town streets & high school settings.

Most scenes are being shot in the Portland/NW areas and since call times can be very

They have posted the cast for the Cullen family, Edward, Bella, Jessica, Eric, Mike, and Victoria and James.

They picked Jacob. He's Sharkboy from Sharboy and Lavagirl. he kinda cute I guess but a) He has no indian background. b) I though Jake had long hair and c) He's too childish looking.

Most of us are probably going to go see it, just to point out what wrong with it, huh? I mean, I'll go see it, and maybe like it, but I'll never like it as much as the books. Cuz looking at the cast, I like hate it. I think one of the only people I like that they casted is Kristen as Bella. I really hated it at first, but the more I looked at it, the more she seemed like she could be Bella. I still think Emily would have been better, but we don't have any control over who got picked, sadly.
Even then, there would have been a lot of controversy over which candidate for Edward would be picked. I had seen so many, from Gaspard Ulliel (my personal favorite), to Tom Sturridge (I believe he was one of them), and then there was Henry Cavill. There weren't as many for the other characters, but I know we all had certain people we wanted to play each character. Am I right?
I'm still excited for it, and I intend to go see it, but I'm not sure that I'm going to like it too much.
