As little or as much as you want to say!
About me: I was a newspaper journalist for a long time (yeah, I'm old, I'm ok with it, lol) but left due to a serious illness and major burnout. I loved journalism, but my last newspaper was just a horrible place to work. For everyone.
I got started in journalism quite by accident in college. I was bored and wanted something else to do with my life. I decided it was perfect for me and even though I have no plans to ever go back, I will probably always think of myself as a reporter.
I joined Gaia in April 06 after hearing about it from someone in an anime-related Yahoo Group and I'm still here. I guess being a reporter puts you in contact with all kinds of people of all ages, so I've never felt compelled to hang around people of my own age or peer group, whatever that might be. So you younguns are stuck with me! twisted
I'm getting ready to go back to school to get my MBA with a specialization in market research. If advertisers tell you what to buy, I want to be the one to tell the advertisers what to say! [cue evil laughter here]. Unless I decide to do something else, because I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
As far as hobbies outside of Gaia, I love to read. I have six cats. I play tabletop RPGs. I love anime, and movies and good TV shows, esp. sci-fi and fantasy.
My username is from Gunslinger Girl. I have 21 mules, some of whom will be in the guild, like [[Henrietta]], who'll be the official Guild mule.

Hey there, I'm Sheka! (duh)
I have a legal name but that is forbidden to know because it's dumb and too common! So please, call me Sheka.
I joined Gaia October 9th, 2003 and have been hopping from subforum to subforum. Currently I reside in the art forums and GCD. When I'm feeling really bored, I'll look at GD. On a cheery, good day I'll welcome Gaians in the Welcome Forum.
Reason for joining? I like to see the outside world's intake on Gaia. It's interesting to see what an impact Gaia is making. Seeing it grow so much and gain recognition means a lot to me, especially when I remember it being this tiny little forum.

Hi thar. My name is Ming. Uh... I joined Gaia November 3rd, 2003... and I'm a Mod Assistant for the Manga forum (and a newly appointment probational mod!)
I joined because I was reading a Clementine thread in the GCD, and thought the news guild would be fun to follow. heart So thanks for the invite!

I joined because I found the idea interesting, especially having worked in student journalism for eight years. I can help with writing things that need written and with graphics (I'll get started making a nice banner. wink Perhaps even a new portrayal of our fabulous fishy mascot.)

He had the traditional English lit major, but I was really a linguistics major in the English department. I never graduated tho, and earlier this year finally finished my bachelor's in marketing. Hey everyone! So, I'm 16... almost... and my name is Mary. Just don't ever call me by my real name. XP I'm a Junior in high school, and I love anime, manga, video games, music, art, and a lot more stuff I won't list.
I joined Gaia in 2006 after a friend told me about it, and fell in love with it immediately. I love the GCD and the AT Forums.
I joined this guild because the Clementine article made me realize how entertaining it can be to tear apart those cruddy reviews and stick up for our beloved Gaia. Some one's gotta do it.

I'm Felix, i'm 20 years old and have joined gaia jan 26 2005, i'm not that much of a writer or anything in that subject, but I can draw machines, etc
and i'm impressed stella you got this place up faster than I could ever do before I sold it to ya, good job!!
