So how bout them female-fronted punk bands? In my opinion, it's good to know that not all of the girls in the scene are idiot fangirls, or only at shows because their boyfriends are there. Mandy from Mere Dead Men and Marni from Die Cheerleader Die rock my socks off, and then the rest of my clothing too.

Me <3's Brody Dalle from the Distillers. Shes pretty cool.
The Devotchkas are pretty awesome too, and so are Jack Off Jill.. though Im not sure whether I would call them punk or not.
Then theres a fairly local band called Brat Attack that has a female lead singer. Theyre quite good... I dunno if their site is up yet..

Gah! How could I have forgotten The Devotchkas? gonk Yes, they're awesome. I'm not sure if they're still the 99's or if they went back to their old name, though. But Alaine is really hot. heart

The devotchkas are back to their old name, but they have sort of died and stopped playing shows.

Sonic Boom Six are pretty good. At least they were a few years ago. I haven't seen them since 02.

the epoxies, haha although female fronted they suck but theres this local band from NYC called lady unluck and there pretty good

the epoxies self titled was gold. the new one is good, but not quite the same(and what do you know, it was on fat. they seem to just suck the life out of bands)

The Epoxies are real good. Even their Fat release was allright.

The Distillers, Sahara Hotnights, the Slits, Siouxie and the Banshees, X, 45 Grave, etc. are awesome bands!
