Ok, I went on a bit of a hiatus from Buddhism, to see if there was anything else out there that worked better.... there isn't. but in the process, I fell in love. Unfortunately enough for me, this love didn't love me back, much less even like me back, so I got rather depressed and angry (hence the hiatus) so I was wondering, how exactly do you deal with love when it goes terribly wrong?

The basic Buddhist response would be to let go all of your attachments to your desired love, since remaining attached to the individual will only bring you more hardship and suffering. I was in a similar position for years until about 4 years ago, and things get a lot better when you finally let go. In fact, I've finally found real love biggrin

I dated and was even engaged to someone who claimed to but whose actions showed he could care less for two years. It is best when you let it go and just love them as a person and enjoy your life.
