A generic shared office. Can and does get used as a "waiting room". Furnishings are worn but comfortable for any family members or Healers that are in need of a nap. A pull-rope dangles by the door so that a page can bring what is needed. Looks more like a salon with some bookshelves and a writing desk. Permanant Healers get their own offices but for those in training or passing through they share this room.

Silversnow and Silverleaf followed Queen Fern into the office. They both stood out of respect for the queen. They would only sit after she had done so.

Fern entered the room and immediately rang for a page. One came quickly and she ordered some tea and a fruit and cheese plate. She took one of the cushy chairs and motioned for Silverleaf and Silversnow to make themselves comfortable when they came in. Soon the page returned w/the refreshmants and the Queen didn't waste any time tucking into it.
So please tell me what happened.

Silverleaf began, believing that her brother, who she had only met that very same day, was more of the quiet and stoic type. "Citadel came into the hall carrying his chosen, Cassidy, on his back. The boy was unconscious and mentally injured, that much was obvious. When I got near him, he seemed to calm down until he realized that I was a healer. He began to fight me and I forceably calmed him down with some mind healing. I asked Silversnow to help me get Cassidy into a room, and Citadel left momentarilly to go into the courtyard, so he could still be with his newly chosen."
She then continued to recite all that had happened.
(I don't believe I need to type it ALL down, lol. She does state that the boy, Tiliff seems to have vanished at the end of it though.)

Fern took the story in silently but nodding her understanding while the girl spoke.
I thank you for your attempt to help and I'm sorry that you got hurt in the middle of all this. This newly Chosen, Cassidy, and Citadel will need special care.
She mused for a moment.
They will need to be someplace that Healers have access but there aren't many others to get in the middle of harms way. I wonder... is there any room left in the minivales? Perhaps a small corner they can take over until Cassidy is healed?

"If... I may, your majesty," Silverleaf continued. "There is a teacher here who could keep an eye on him... and he still is open for more students."
Silversnow cocked his head to one side, he hadn't said a word, but only listened.

"There's Azekial. He might be a bit ostentatious, but he's also a healer as well as a Herald-Mage. He moves around alot, so Cassidy won't have to worry about the Healer's Collegium. And Azekial can handle almost anyone," she said, finishing Azekial's resume.

He does seem to be just what we need. Assuming he works out we just need to find a secluded place to hole them away temporarily.
Although the Queen had mindspeech gift she wasn't eavesdropping so did not know about the conversation. However, she did notice that faraway look in Silversnow's eyes and figured he was talking with someone.

"You can just hint for him to travel again. He might not be too happy about it though since he just came back. There is also that Tiliff boy. Cassidy and Tiliff seemed to be very close while they were in the patient room, but Citadel didn't like him at all. He tried to bite him and the boy wasn't even doing anything," she said shaking her head. That poor boy, he seemed heartbroken... they both did.

Fern sighed.
The boy would definately be a problem. We should be careful about that one. I'll confer with Varren and our Companions before we make a decision regarding that one.
She paused to take a sip of tea.
Is there anything I can do to repay you for your efforts today or compensate for your injuries?

"Yes... I think there is, your majesty," Silverleaf began. Just the tone of her voice had Silversnow paying attention. She seemed to serious and sure of herself. "I want to go to K'Treva Vale with my brother, but I need the king's permission first, since I'm only a Healer Trainee."
Silversnow forced himself to calm down, though there was an obvious smile on his normally emotionless face.

((I keep wanting to call the Queen Ellena 'cause that's the name of a Queen in one of my fav. books))
Permission to go home? Absolutely. If anyone makes any noise about it we will call it a "medical leave". Also, if you can bring back some of the medicinal herbs that grow only there for us to replant here that would give a even more of a reason for you to take the trip.

But the statement confused Silversnow. He hadn't intended for her to leave this home just for her to return to her birth home. To forsake one place wouldn't help her better herself.

Fern's face fell.
Well...if that's truely what you want. I just request that you consider coming back. We could really use help like yours here. I would never make you stay here if you are unhappy...an unhappy Healer can't exactly help people. Can I ask why you don't wish to return, though?
