APOTHEOSIS EDIT: I added a lot, you don't need to look over it all, but I would prefer you read the rules I put up. A giant crystal comet, similar to a gigantic Chaos Emerald, is on its way to pass Mobius. Normally (Once every few thousand years), all this would mean is the people of Mobius get to see an unusually beautiful comet pass by.
However, Eggman was intrigued by such a Comet. The scanners at his main base told of the immense amount of power contained in it. The problem is, it would take a fair bit of energy just to stop it and contain it in the first place, but where was he going to get this said energy?
He decided he would need the seven Chaos emeralds, and maybe a new plot to stop Sonic and his friends from interfering.
He came up with an ingenious idea, and set to work on a brand new invention... A space-time weakener. He would use this device to target several Mobians he considered "Threatening to his capturing of the Chaos Emeralds".
Once activated, it would rip a random targets mind from another dimension, putting it into the Mobians body. At this point, the Mobians mind would go into a sort of hibernation, leaving the mind taken from another world in control. Also, the mind taken from another world would have to be sleeping during this.
(Summary of how it works: The machine is activated while targeting a Mobian (Sonic, for example). A sleeping person from OUR world has their mind captured and put into the Mobians mind. So, for example, You fall asleep and wake up as Sonic in Mobius.)
It is Eggman's hope that the new minds will be too casual and ordinary to fight back like Sonic and his friends do, leaving him able to take the Chaos Emeralds without resistance.
He activated his device and began replacing his Targets' minds, one by one.------------------------------------------------------------------------
RULES:
*No god-moding is a given, but to be more specific...
-Try not to auto-hit(Assume your attack hits the target RPer).
-No killing anyones RPC without their permission.
-Generally keep a good limit on your power, don't be invincible or unreasonably powerful.
* Refrain from cussing like a Sailor, please.
* Take cybering to PMs.
* Try to be as literate as you can, check your spelling, please.
Except for cybering and god-moding, their more like guidelines than anything. But please do your best to follow them.
So heres what happens. You play as you're own mind, you're own personality, in a Sonic character. It can be an official Character, or made up. After PMing me for permission to play an official character, or PMing me with a profile to put up, you're first post should be about you and you're last minutes on earth before you go to sleep, unknowing that you will wake up as you're character.
When you are you're character, only the personality changes.
Example: If you choose Jet, you are still a pro air boarder, even though Air Boards don't exist in our world.
Another Example: Knuckles is still a good fighter. Tails still has a talent for Mechanics (Even if his new mind doesn't know much about mechanics), and Sonic is still very fast.

Custom Character info: Remember, the only thing that is coming from earth (Our dimension) is our personalities and knowledge. You are taking on the form and physical traits of your Mobian.

I dunno, maybe a space-time distortion sent us into their bodies, so now they're fighting to kick us out of their bodies and get us back in our own world's bodies again? Much mental anxiety here.

It was a beautiful day for Teresa, filled with ordinary plans of going on the computer and talking to friends. But, suddenly she felt herself falling asleep over her meal and everything went back.
When she finally woke up again, she was asleep at table covered with papers. Confused, she rubbed her eyes and released that she was wearing gloves.
"Okay..." She stood up and almost jumped at her voice; a young boy's voice. "What's going on here!?"
Worried now, she walked over to the mirror and let out a scream as she saw in the mirror something that both made her jump for joy and be freaked out - she was seeing Tails!
((...Yeah. I'm a big Tails-fan. ^^ wink )

Dave finished up with a few other details on a sculpture he was working on, then set it aside. Realizing it was 11:30 PM, he decided it was about time to get some sleep. He checked the internet to make sure he had no unanswered messages left, then made his computer sleep, disconnected his mouse so its glow wouldn't keep him awake, and walked over to his bed where he quickly fell asleep.
He woke up in a sleeping bag in some forest. It took him a moment to realize he was awake. He got up and shook his unusually heavy head, feeling his dreadlocks swing. He lifted an unusually large hand to feel them, then looked at his hand. When he saw his spiked knuckles, his jaw dropped.
"What in the heck..."
He heard his new voice for the first time.
"WHAT IN THE HECK!?"
He stared at his fists, then down to his steel-toed shoes, then back to his fists. He saw his body, and could see a muzzle where his nose should be.
I almost look like...
He spotted a small pond a few yards away and ran up to it to see his reflection. He stared at the exact image of Knuckles for a while, not exactly sure what to think.
Dude, I'm Knuckles!?
After looking around a few moments, he decided this was one of the sickest dreams he had ever had. He decided to make the most of being Knuckles and punch down some trees.
He started punching down some trees, amazed at his strength. He found a boulder or two and began punching them. It was eerie how real all this was.

Chris had dozed off playing Sonic Riders. That was the one normal thing...
...He was awoke in a room that was foreign to him. "Where the hell-?" His voice was different. It was arrogant, proud. He looked at his hands. "When...did I put on gloves?" He touched his head and felt...feathers? "No freaking way..." He scrambled frantically through the room untill he found what he was looking for. He looked into the mirror and almost fainted. He was his favorite character, Jet!"
"What! How the? This...this is too cool!!" He looked around and grabbed his airboard. "Well...I can snowboard...wonder if they're the same?" He jumped out a window and noticed it was still night. And his homewas floating in the sky. All he saw was cloud. He slid the board under his feet and took off, break-neck speed.
"Yahoo!" He did some flips, then a 360. It was a little harder than a snowboard, but he got the hang of it quickly. He flew above the ocean, for he had soon hit it, and created waves on either side of him. "This is too cool!"

Knuckles soon got bored of his extreme strength. He sat down on a rock he was throwing around, with his head on his hand, beginning to realize this was definitely no dream. He decided to talk out loud instead of think, he liked the feeling of having a new voice.
"So lets see, what else can Knuckles do..."
He realized Knuckles can also run pretty fast, even curl into a ball like Sonic. Once he thought of that, it all suddenly hit him.
"Oh god, what will I do when I meet the other guys? They'll think Knuckles has totally lost his mind... This HAS to be a dream..."
He tried curling into a ball and it came surprisingly naturally, he rolled off quickly through the forest, having extreme difficulties seeing where he was going, and hitting a few trees. Eventually he stopped at a beach and sat down.
"I never thought of how dizzy doing that made them..."

"CRAP!!!" Jet had lost control of the airboard. He was going to crash-land on a beach. He looked closely and saw knuckles. "HEY! LOOK OUT, KNUCKLES!!!!!" He was zooming in at break-neck speed. "I can't control my speed! GET OUTTA THE WAY!!"

Knuckles dove out of the way just in time as Jet flew by him.
Oh god, oh god.... Okay I got this under control. Just got to act like Knuckles.
He turned to see what happened to Jet.

Jet landed in a heap at the foot of a tree. Oh, crap! It's knuckles! Just try to act like Jet... He hopped up. "Hey, ya loser! Watcha been doin', diggin' fer bugs!"

'Ican'tchangemyclothes,I'llseeTails.' Teresa thought over and over again, her eyes wide as she sat at Tails's table again. 'Ohgod,ohgod,ohgod....what'm I gonna do? What'm I gonna tell my friends online? Is this all a dream?'
Warily, she stood up and walked over to the mirror again, holding up a hand. "It's moving with mine...I'm using Tails's voice when I talk..." She said, her eyes shaking. His eyes were brighter then hers and more cheerful. His smile - oh, how cute! - was shaky in the mirror, as she really had no idea what she was doing.
She sighed and then walked over to his dresser, looking at the jeans and shirts. "Wow...I'm really Tails, aren't I?"
She then nodded and quickly changed clothes with her eyes closed; luckily, she'd worn pants and shirts in her own body and dressed with her eyes closed, so she didn't have any trouble.
The next task: Finding her way around Tails's world.
