I had this idea bumping about in the old noggin.
ANNOUNCEMENT: The contests are over until people show interest in them again.
At the end of every month I shall give away ALL of the ITEMS that I get from the daily chance to one lucky winner!
How it works:
1. I will use the gaia number randomizer to select a number between 1 and 100.
2. Each member of the guild gets ONE shot at guessing the number via the same method.
3. At the end of the month whoever has the number closest to the I roll on the last day of the month will win all of the items that I got in from the daily chance that month.
But what if:
Say that two people somehow manage to get the number or get within the same range of the number?
Easy, whoever posted first will get it.
What if people delete their posts so they can try again?
Bit of a toughy one there. I will try to figure out something soon. In the meantime, let's all use the honor system and only try once.
What if you are gone for the month?
If I know in advance then I will just get some sort of special item and have a contest for that. But I will try to be here every day. If there is no way I can get online for a few days then oh well. If it's for a while, then, again, I will have a little contest.
Rules:
1. No begging, bribing, bumping, or b*tching.
2. Only use the randomizer for that month's contest ONCE.
3. Just to make things fair, don't use your mule. That or use your mule to get a number and not your main. Be honorable about this.
4. No spamming. Keep your quest threads to yourself.
5. Follow the gaia ToS and guild rules
6. The previous winner is not allowed to enter for the very next month's contest.
7. The deadline will always be the sescond to last day of the month at 12pm my time.
8. If no one enters I get to keep everything from that month.

Ye Olde Liste of Past Winners December 07=Spider Loves Erised got the exact number of 64! January 08= ksbabay got 72, the number was 78!

The number has been chosen! Start entering peoples! December 30th is the last chance to enter your number in.
Selecting the number:
select the reply button
you will see something that says "post action"
click "random number" (rather self explanatory, really)
min number is 1 max number is 100.
write something if you want in the text box and then submit your post
Do not delete your post after you have done so!
