When you race short course, do you race in yards or meters? Do you like long course racing? (50m pool) How long and/or wide is the pool that you train in? Does it have bulkheads? How many lanes are there? Is it indoors or outdoors?

My answers:
I race short course meters. Heh, I have raced yards (in fact I did so a couple of days ago), but the times are pretty much meaningless to me since I barely ever race yards.
I like long course racing. I used to be better at it than short course (I still am in my 2nd best stroke) but I race short course more often now. If I had to choose between the two, I dunno which I'd choose... my strategy differs slightly depending on the length of the pool.
The pool that I train in is 8 lanes at 50m long, and has 8 lanes in the middle at 25m wide and 6 lanes in the deep end at 25y wide. It's an indoor pool. The outdoor pool that I train in sometimes is 6 lanes and 55y long (ya, it's an old pool... it's about 50.9m). No bulkheads in either. I used to train in a different province and that pool had bulkheads (it was 8 lanes and 50m long, and the bulkheads allowed us to shorten it to 25m).
