Vanilla found herself frolicking in a bundle of leaves, and she giggled as they fell on top of her after floating in the air. The leaves were so bright and pretty, and Vanilla just LOVED how they floated around. Every now and then a leaf would fall off of a tree, and the Usdia was quickly chase after were it would land.
Sometimes she was very good at catching the little buggars, but other times she was waay too slow. Either way, she was having the time of her life as usual, and she was content in her little world.
After moments passed, the Usdia stopped herself and landed in the leaves once more. She was tired from running back and forth, so this time, she decided to roll around playfully while moving the leaves from above her. When looking in on such a sight, one would wonder just WHAT Vanilla was doing, but either way, she was overjoyed at her little game!

Ooh, nice day. Alone, no 'midgets' to bother him, he was all on his ooown. Much better that way, really! Who wanted one of those tall -things- around, teasing you for being 'small'?! Hmph.
The usdia was having a good time, just galloping about. He liked to run around, and prove he could run just as fast as one of those other guys-- this wasn't true, but it sometimes sure felt like it was. He couldn't even hear himself sometimes-- the wind roaring into his ears.. but this wasn't the case.
He could also hear a ruckus, and skidded to a halt, tilting his head at the.. strange sight.
Now, Paco was known to be grumpy, and very hard around the edges. But he never really wished anyone ill, of course not! At least, none of his own 'kind'. He was a bit more inclined to be nice to other Usdia rather than some of those idiotic 'midgets'. Pfft, stupid soquili! However, this was definitely an Usdia. And.. hole crap, was she having some sort of spazm?
Cautiosly, Paco walked over, ears back, brows furrowed as if whatever was wrong with her was contagious. Naaw, shouldn't be.
"Er, miss. are you alright? " He asked, wrinkling his nose slightly. What the heck was she doing?

Vanilla stopped herself in a shocked state, and looked up to see.. ANOTHER USDIA?! Oh gosh, how embarrassing! She thought she was alone! But maybe.. she didn't look that weird? Or maybe, she did?!?!
Either way, the mare stood up, shook many many leaves off her body, and she then tried to fake a bright smile. "No no, I am just fine, ehehe." With a flick of her tail, she tried to straighten herself out, and look less.. weird. "Don't you just love um, the fall! And the leaves!" Continuing to fakely smile at him, Vanilla stomped her little hooves against the leaves, only to reemphasize their crunch. "I was just playing, you know.."
"..Just playing out of boredom. Do you ever play in the laves?" She really wasn't a nervous creature, but for some reason, feeling completely off guard bothered her!

WHOA. She got up fast. Paco leaped back in surprise, having expected her to get up slowly like.. sick folks usually did. His ears perked in confusion, blue eyes eying the other usdia carefully. Nice, leave it up to him to find some.. weirdo. Flicking his tail, he snorted slightly, and seemed to pause a long time before saying something.
Oh snap, he was supposed to say something?
"Uh. No. " He blinked. Why would he play in the leaves? It seemed so.. pointless. "I just run 'round. Cause the midgets think their so much cooler thaan we are. " He snorted. Midgets was what he called the normal soquili; not that he thought he was bigger in size. But if they called him one, he sure as hell had the right to call them midgets.
"Uh, anywho. I'm Paco. " Paco wasn't usually polite, no. But he wasn't sure about this ones.. mental state. He'd just act nice now, es. Nice.

...Midgets?
Maybe this male was the weird one! Shrugging that thought off, Vanilla lowered her head and smiled, finally feeling at ease again. "Hi Paco, I'm Vanilla! Its nice to meet you, though.." she paused suddenly, and looked at her legs. "..I must have distracted you when you were running, and I am sorry. I guess what I was doing was really weird, hugh?"
Curse her and her.. random ways! Vanilla kept her ears lowered as she watched Paco, and suddenly felt like everything was all her fault. "I probably left such a bad impression.." she then mumbled to herself, since darnit, she would like to make at least ONE friend!

Uhh. Wait, why was she looking down? What the.. ? Wait, was this one of those females that.. cried over everything? "Nonono-- er. I was getting tired anyway. " Oooh, nice lie, Paco.
the problem here wasn't him trying to be nice. The problem here, was the fact Paco was always awkward around female usdia. And it got even worse when they cried! Imagine the situation! And.. Well, Paco didn't fight women, end of story.
Unless they were those midgets. Midgets were midgets regardless of the gender.

Bringing a sudden and happy expression out from her lowered head, Vanilla raised her spirits and gleamed at Paco. "Well, as long as I didn't ruin anything for you. I would have felt awful if I did. I just want everyone to be happy ya know." And with that said, Vanilla flopped herself around Paco, and was bouncing and trotting around him merrily.
"Well, now that you are here, what should we do? I'd love some company, that is.." With a pause, she stopped herself and glanced at Paco's eyes. "That is.. if you want company, Mr. Paco. It's been awhile since I hung out with someone else, and I promise I will try and be um, not annoying." Yes, that was it. She needed to cater to others, so they would be happy to have her there!

Okaaaay now. This one had just snapped.
Maybe he should y'know. Keep her company till she collapsed from exaustion! Yes, that sounded like the right thing to do, because this might be some sort of loony that require attention or they'd hurt themselves! Yees, that could be it.
"Uh, you can pick. "
Damn, Paco. You are so enthusiastic!

Rather then questioning the male more, Vanilla ran out and away from where Paco stood, before motioning for him to follow. "You know, the beach is only like a mile away from here. I was there yesterday, but its still fun because of the sand. The water is cold, but the sand is really mushy and soft! It feels so weird on your hooves!"
Rather then waiting for a 'No thanks' or 'I'd rather not,' Vanilla continued a trotting pace, and assumed that the male was following. "Come on come on, Paco!"
The beach would give them something to do, and Vanilla hoped to at least seem less freaky to the male. She was in a hyper mood, and it was really showing!

Beach? Wait. Craaap. She'd drown! And Paco wasn't that strong a swimmer! Oh, the poor loony female! "Going! " Paco said uneasily, forcing a smile when she looked at him even though it quickly died as she looked away, the male trotting up to keep pace beside the female. "I've never been to the beach. "
Nice lie, Paco. But hey, you needed it for the small talk, right? "Is it fun? "

She was glad that Paco was quickly following behind her, since they were almost at their destination! "Yay we are almost there! And.. fun?! Of course its fun! Do I look like the type who could handle something boring?" With a grin to herself, she continued forward until the two of them had cleared a steep hill, thus bringing them to the oceanic view. "See see, isn't it pretty? Let's go down there!"
And with that, Vanilla moved herself so that she was now on the sad. She hopped up and down before feeling the mushy'ness of the sand, and she glanced over to see how Pace was doing. "Isn't it coool?"

I don't know if anything is boring to you. The male thought in his mind. In fact, to him this.. Vanilla seemed like the type who would find anything fun, and be easily pleased. Weird.. hyperactive folks. Truth be told, by now Paco would have probably thrown an insult her way if she were anything but an usdia -and- a mare. See, Paco felt more inclined to be a bit more tolerant whenit came to usdia, especially if they were female. At least if they weren't bossy, but this one had proved not to be.
When they arrived at the beach, Paco almost snorted out loud, but held his breath to prevent that. He knew what sand was like! But he'd told her he hadn't. Time to play the idiot, for this girl also seemed like the type that could feel hurt if he acted indifferent(and the type that would or could have a stroke at any moment, but not being a medic, to Paco strokes are defined as SPAZZ). With fake caution, that perhaps others might notice, if they were a little less hyper than Vanilla, he stepped onto the sand. Wow! " He winced in his mind, but kept that from actually showing on his face. "This is cool. " Woo-hoo.

Now that Vanilla was aware that Paco liked the sand, she felt pride in knowing that she showed him a cool place. "Yeah, I love the sand, its so soft and nice. In the summer it gets way hot though." Plus the beaches were crowded in the summer, and Vanilla wasn't a fan of that either. Everyone seemed to flock to the beach, and it was so much nicer in the fall.
She realized she didn't know anything about Paco, so now that they were in a comfortable spot, she decided to ask him some questions. "So Paco, do you have any family around here? I myself don't, but I see all kinds of families and stuff running around.." With a nod, she looked at him with her usual eager eyes before trudging her little legs through the sand.

"Really? " He said, again faking enthusiasm. Just be nice to her, remember that! Paco is a jerk, really, but he can sometimes make the effort to be nice, and Vanilla was.. quite lucky, that she'd caught him on a nice mood. As for the sand.. well, it was pretty nice.
He blinked, flipping an ear at her once more and holding back the urge to snap. Family! Puh. "No. " He replied, looking towards the ocean and watching the waves slightly, lowering his head a bit. He needed no one, why did everyone always have to mention 'family'?!

Paco seemed very different when Vanilla mentioned 'family', and the mare lowered her ears before looking into the ocean herself. Her bouncy attitude was calmed, and her focus was now on the conversation. "Well, if it makes you feel better, I have no family. I don't even have a lot of friends. But you know, that's why I was so happy to find you, since I am new at learning how to make friends and stuff."
She gave the male a hopeful stare, before smiling back at the ocean. "I am just thankful that you were kind enough to keep me company to this point, and if I have upset you in any way, I understand if you'd like to leave." Paco was so kind for hanging around her, and the mare was happy no matter what happened.
