Uhuru paced the outskirts of the jungle. He hadn't actually been out this way since he was a cub and he found it strage that he would end up here of all places. "Maybe I'll meet another crazy old geezer again," he thought with a chuckle to himself. He continued on through the trees, weaving in and out of the more grassy plains and the tangled jungle.

Chui grumbled lightly to himself, a bit upset that he hadn't found any food for the past hour or so that he was searching. It really wasn't his fault that he was tired, and that he couldn't sleep the night before. That being said, his lack of sleep was actually the cause for his extra meal. He approached the borders of the jungle much more quickly than he thought, not realizing exactly how anxious he'd been to get out of the greenery that was his home.
With a sigh he took a seat nearby a large tree, the vast expanse of plains and desert before him in perfect view. He quirked a brow, wondering to himself why he stayed in such a boring, very solitary place. The male didn't notice that there was another lurking amongst the borders, and at the moment, he couldn't have care less.

Coming to a large tree on the edge, he decided to go around the back of it and pick up his meandering on the other side. This plan would have worked if not for one problem. Something caught his eye next to him, but he continued walking. This was a problem because he continued walking right into another leopard as he rounded the tree's base.

The male landed with a thud a few feet away from where he was standing just moments age, and with a grumble he shook his head as he got back on his paws. It took a moment to see what he'd bumped into, especially since he thought it was his own stupid mistake for bumping into a tree.
However, he saw another leopard before him, and he grumbled, despite his mood, a small apology. "Sorry 'bout that," he said. "You okay?"

Uhuru grumbled as he realized that he'd run into something worse than a tree. He had run into another living thing. Great. Just what he needed. Absolutely fantastic. He had no reason to be so mentally rude to this leopard, much less verbally, but alas replied, "Watch where you're going next time, you bumbling fool." He knew it was his fault, however, he'd be the last to admit he was ever wrong.
