A while had passed since he last graced the HQ. For the longest time now he had been training by himself in places far away from him. His skills had sharpened since his last appearance. Now he could swing the sword more easily without wasting too many movements. He was sure his mother would be proud of him once he came home. Of course she would never express it openly and joyfully, but he didn't do it for her praise in the first place.
His blue eyes peered about in the rather quiet room. There weren't any familiar faces around and no signs of danger. He secretly hoped he could try his new skills on someone worthy, but around these areas there were nothing except the occational trouble makers. Though he have heard of rumors of undead lingering about these places...Perhaps he would encounter one sooner than later.

The sky was a beautiful grey today, an overcast covering the lands. It drew in some warmth and gave the scenery a surreal and softly glowing touch. Setsu tilted her neck back to enjoy the last bits of weather before it froze over. Winter was the single force that would demand her dormant for some time. The cold air was just untolerable, otherwise, she'd be out and doing....what? Two toned eyes downcast to that thought. There was nothing to do, or accomplish here. This simply wasn't her world. And needless to say, the undead...in all its aspects, was unwelcome here. Ears flashed back in what could be similiar to anger, had the kitsusagi any emotions to feel.
Having been leaning against the wooden headquarters, the female finally moved to leave. Making sure her earring and katana were securely attached, Setsu nodded soberly to herself. Pearly scaled tails flicked tensly behind her as she padded nearer the woods. Her last goal of mind was to find the ones that could possibly help her in her situation. The magic wielders...or magicians.

With the lack of much life within the wooden headquarters, Sigurd slowly made his way out into the open. The cool air was rather refreshing compared to the places where he's been, and for once he was thankful for the sweater he always wore. Sometimes it got a bit cool even for his tastes.
His navy colored eyes peered in the direction ahead of him. A figure clad in dark colors with surprisingly bright colored hair. Horns on the back of its head, too. This was quite possibly a demon of sorts, as most often they would carry horns on their heads. But these horns were a bit different. None the less, he followed after quietly, only observing for now.

(oh and just for reference, Setsu is left with one horn) 8D;
White feather fickered, but it wasn't known if it was caused by cold air or awareness. Either way, the female kitsu marched on without pause, her steps slow and unbothered. Where to find these magicians...she didn't know. But trekking around this world, even if it cost time, was worth her learning of her surroundings. Head tilted up at the sound of a bird taking flight from it's dead branch of a perch. Otherwise, the land was muffled in silence as thick as the clouds above. The terrain shifted as she went further, ground turning to shallow mud. The brown paint clung to her paws and the ends of her tails. And still she moved forward, one ear twisting back to track the echoes of foot falls trailing close behind.

[Ok, I couldn't tell from the image. XD; Thanks for the clearup.]
He still was unsure of her true nature. Was she a demon, or not? She certainly didn't act like one, but she could just be deceiving him as demons normally would. However, he had never heard of one horned demons, not through normal occurance anyway. Not unless she got caught up in a fight somewhere with someone with overwhelming strength. She certainly didn't give off an aura of evil, so there was no way she was a demon, right?
There was only one way to find out, "Where are you headed, pray tell?" He called out to her as he followed.

(no problem) X3
All four paws drudged to a stop, the sound of another voice her signal. So, it had been another kitsusagi? Her head turned lightly, glancing over her shoulder with her red eye. So it had been. Though not a familiar face, Setsu could at least confirm that he wasn't an nightmare. That had been one warning to her that she has so far succeeded in avoiding.
"Curiousity killed the cat you know." But that would be of no concern, should the two split ways. Tails coiled under her form, only to get more muddy as she shifted. Her stance was now so she wasn't blindsighted by the other kitsu. Instead, the right half of her body was facing him and now both eyes had clear view of the stranger. And the first detail to mind was that he carried a sword. Was he a fighter or guard of sorts? Or just a fool wearing decoration? Dull eyes narrowed as she spoke. "And why should you ask?"

She carried a bit of an attitude towards Sigurd considering they were both strangers. He would not take offence towards it for now. But the way she dressed was rather peculiar. He had never seen clothing such as that in his life before. She also carried a dagger or short sword her side, but what was its purpose? Maybe it was to help her intimidating form. She did pull it off rather well.
"I am merely wondering. You appear lost," He replied while standing still. It was best not to intimidate her, he figured.

Perhaps. But when she was aware that he had been trailing her, well, it wasn't something to take lightly. Even so, intimidation was so second nature to her, she didn't realize when it was pronounced from herself. Not that it mattered here and now. Or ever. She was what she was, be it kind or rude, capable or impossible. An emotionless corpse.
"Lost? So it seems." Eyes trailed dully to the side, seeing nothing of paths or road signs in the woods. /and through the bare tree branches, she could still clearly see the couds above. The weather was too nice to sit idle and pass. Body turned back in the direction of her previous walking, not bothering a glance back to the nosey kitsusagi. "Have you nothing better to do? I'm in no mood for more faces of company." Enough time had been wasted on those, and she knew better than to attempt any more.

He did have better things to do, but he thought she just needed some help. The male shrugged his shoulders in response to her question. He could be off training some more, but his morals told him to go help the seemingly lost kitsu over yonder. However, if she kept up this attitude he might as well just leave. They would just prove counter productive to both of them.
"I have better things to do if you do not require my assistance. I could maybe help you find your way, but if you are fine on your own then I shall let you be," He voiced back as nicely as he could.

Oh, how...amusing. Or at least that's what she expected to feel was she able to. Were there always those so open as to help strangers, even in this world? For all he knew, she could be plotting an individuals doom. And simply due to morals, he'd be assisting her in such a task with his carefree question. Setsu wasn't blessed with patience, otherwise she'd bother voicing this opinion. But as always, there'd be an argument.
"Do you know the location of the wizards?" Her head turned back to him, waiting for a response. Otherwise, she didn't expect much of anything. As far as politeness went, this was the best consideration she could offer to a stranger.

After what seemed to be forever, she finally responded back to him. Without much of an attitude, too. A smile formed upon his maw naturally as he thought about this. But wizards? That was weird. Why was she searching for wizards?
"Wizards?" He asked hesitantly. But it was probably best not to peer in too deeply, or else she'd simply continue on as if he hadn't been there. "I do not know what wizards you speak of, but I have heard of a few families who specialize in magical powers."

A curt nod was given to his ponderings. Wizards, magicians...whichever one prefered to call them. Ears flicked up and forward to his statement, widened eyes turning to peer at the kitsusagi. "Families?" So there were a numerous amount of them about. Know she was left to determine just who carried that ability and who didn't. As far as she knew, that type of gift wasn't revealed through physical features. That'd be too easy. "And you. Do you carry such use? Or know of any locations to search?"

She definitely wanted magic powers for something. It was something important and of utmost urgency. But what it was, he could only speculate. "I do not know how to use magic, but I may know of those who knows others who possesses those abilities. My mother knows someone in her family who have connections," he nodded lightly. Whatever she needed them for, he was glad to help her in some sense. Even if she was rude towards him earlier, it mattered little now.

Well, this was more of a lead than anything else she had recieved. Even so, she wanted no links for this world. If she failed, she'd fail alone. Simple and clean. Setsu finally turned her direction, tilting her head to the side and lifting a brow at the stranger. All features from her were mere memories of emotional expressions. She could only wonder how accurate they were. "Interesting. Know of their locations as well?" Would names be necessary as well in achieving what she was looking for? Who knew. Don't ask don't tell, that was her policy.

At least she wasn't expressionless. "No, I do not know of their locations, but if I went home I could ask for you. Would you like to come with me, or stay here while I go ask?" Even if Lenneth didn't know, someone else in the family was bound to know. Akari often visited the HQ and made many more friends than his mother, so she might know the right persons to connect this traveler. Even though he was unaware of Akari's new additions to the family, she could at least find out. She was a bit more sincere on helping others out than he was.
