Hey, I used to be an exchanger, before the new marketplace came in. But once it came in i gave up on exchanging all together....
I really need gold though, and now I dont know how to make it...because I made it all by exchanging//vending....
And i wanted to know...
Is it still worth it..? To exchange//vend...and still lose money from the marketplace? like...do you get any profit at all?

You need to factor the 2% fee into every purchase.
If you vend its hard to know if something is good.
For example if you buy a 490k NMHB and mp is 500k you will break even...
which isnt great...
But if you can find a seller in the exchange that will sell cheap then its worth it.
Go for smaller items, as there is less fee taken. Also with the larger items sellers are less inclinded to sell them that low... most of the time...

What helps me is to have a calculator next to me
just do 2/100x the amount and you will get the fee

10,000x.02=200g tax.
Earning 9,800g.
