I'm pretty amazed that this hasn't come up yet, but maybe it's a generational thing?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dykes_to_Watch_Out_For (the wikipedia is more reader-friendly than the actualy site, I've found)
I've read sections and I'm going to ask for the first few books for xmas. I think it's a great combination of politics, lesbian life, trans life, and feminism.
Anyone else here heard of it or read it?

I've read a lot of it actually. It is posted in every Xtra, the gay newspaper out here. I found it interesting for a while and then it got too political for me. I'm not much for politics so stopped reading it. *shrugs* There is another comic that was in Xtra called "Chosen Family" that I liked a lot more. It was silly and dealt with gay life in Toronto for the most part. I always remember when the two lesbian character adopt two children, a 6 year old girl and a baby boy, and this gay guy asks the girl what she thinks of her new baby brother and she leans in close to the guy and says.
"His eye balls are squishy." It was rather cute and silly at times.
Well jaa ne
