This happens every couple of years, and it's starting to drive me insane. Supposedly it's gonna be shot next August, but it's never been done in the past. I've seen the only other live action movie that they made, which was for dragonball, and it was horrible.

*frowns* I'm actually kinda worried about this. I've looked around and I've heard a few more rumors about the shoot. Supposedly the guy who was the lead in....... I forgot the name of the movie........... it's where he supposedly died and the main girl could see him and they had to solve his murder within a certain amount of time........
anyways, that guy is supposedly playing Goku. Many have been saying that he's not too good of an actor. There are also unpromising things being said about the directors and screen write, especially because the rumors are that the movie will take place in the time period of dragonball.
The guy who wrote the script for Final Destination is writing it and the director.... is I think the guy who did Kung Fu Hustle (I'm not too bothered by this last part. I liked that movie.)

Also, the production crew (choreography, green-screening, etc.) Are the same guys who did 300.

...hmm, I've heard that the movie is only going to portray the last part of dragonball. There have been plenty of speculation in the last several years that there would be a movie with the Saiyan saga in it, but no one has been absolutely sure.

They already did a live-action dragonball movie (which sucked by the way).
There is no story without Vegeta!!
I will boycott any dragonball movie. a dbz movie would sell more anyway! its profitably more logical, fans would appreciate it more, and it hasn't been done before!
there's better action, more plot, and better characters. all the formula for a great movie!

Son_Goshi is correct. It's going to be a film adaptation of the Piccolo Daimyo Saga of Dragonball.

I understand what you're saying and I agree, mostly everyone likes that part of the series and I would love to see that made into a movie. Although, the good news is that nothing has been completely made clear to the fans, so there is a chance I'm mistaken.
And I have seen that movie... in fact I own it. You know it's bad when Puar is a talking bird, Oolong is really a fat man, and Roshi has no beard!!!! The best part of the movie is when Roshi danced..... speaking of which.... I want to see if I can use that as a siggy.... *mumble, mumble*

i saw the preview for speed racer in thaetres, and my heart sank.

I've known about this for awhile, too. However, I still can't decide if I'm happy or absolutely terrified. sweatdrop They do have some photos leaked out, and there are videos floating around the internet. Check them out and tell me if they concern you as much as they did me. crying

well, i doubt that speed racer and dbz will be the only anime turned live-action; so general anime and DBZ fans alike should be worried.
