I saw The Mist yesterday and I thought it was a brilliant adaptation of the novella. I even loved the new ending, I thought it was a great way to give closure to the film. Anyone else with me?

I really liked it as well. The new ending seemed a little weird but it was nice to see something different happen.

I just thought it was weird how seconds after he kills everyone everything is alright. Seemed like it was too sudden.

I guess they made it that short of a span of time to really drive home the horrible situation. I thought it was kinda quick too but it didn't bother me all that much, it was just kinda like HOLY s**t!

I liked it, it was a good creature movie, plus the ending was really messed up. Dude shoulda waited like five minutes!

I even read in an article that Stephen King liked the ending to the film better than the one he wrote in his own story!
