3nodding I've kept track of them ever since they started because I'm a huge Mike Shinoda fan. The album The Rising Tied is really good

Well it's not really a band, it's just Mike Shinoda collaboration with other artists 3nodding
But I agree! They are really awesome blaugh I'm also a huge fan of Mike, and Linkin Park too, and I really like this side project of his biggrin
I am usually not into rap that much, but Fort Minor is very different from other rapartists out there.

Well the "leader" is a part of Linkin Park, and really Mike is one of the main instigators and originators of Linkin Park's sound. Its not suprising that his other music would sound similar.
