Hey, I think one of the reasons this guild has died is 'cause none of the mods are active anymore. I bet there are over 9000 join requests piled up with no one to approve them. What if a few of us got together and started a new HDM guild? If four of us did that, it would only cost us 5k each (it's 20k to start a guild). What do you guys think?
Also, I would suggest yugioh88 as captain. He still contributes to this guild and he also runs an HDM thread. 3nodding
Hey, I contacted the guild captain and she's adding a few mods. Looks like we won't have to make a new one after all! Woo! biggrin

What if they see it and get all insulted? sweatdrop Well, I guess I should anyway before anyone goes and blows 20k on a new guild... but if I can get ahold of one of the guild mods and they don't want to run it anymore, maybe they can appoint a few new mods to run the guild.

If we do make a new quild, I would love to be the captain. Or at least become a new mod for this quild

I'm a mod and I'm for that idea, I'd pitch in because I really miss the old RP thread I used to be involved in. I'm not sure about how active the other mods are but I know I haven't checked this place in quite a few months sweatdrop

Merlinssister I'm a mod and I'm for that idea, I'd pitch in because I really miss the old RP thread I used to be involved in. I'm not sure about how active the other mods are but I know I haven't checked this place in quite a few months sweatdrop Well, if we can get the Captain (or can the vice captains add mods too?) to add at least a couple more active mods, we wouldn't have to buy a new guild at all and that would be nice. I already sent the captain a PM about it, but she hasn't posted anywhere in the regular forums since July (she logged on to Gaia on the 23rd, though). 3nodding But don't forget to check the join requests! surprised

Hmm, well I know for a fact that guild requests aren't piled up, because I just joined the guild. If the join requests were stacked up, then it would have been a lot longer until I got accepted. (Like a month, as opposed to a couple days or something.)
Personally, I think that a new guild wouldn't really help much. It might be better to get more mods, and advertise the guild a bit more. I would have joined this guild ages ago if I had known about it.

Definitely more adveritising... Maybe this weekend I can put together a couple new banners... and I wouldn't mind making some guild ID cards or something either. But I won't be able to do it till the weekend 'cause half my teachers decided to give tests this week. And I should be writing college application essays right now... domokun
And olive, I think the only reason you were accepted so fast is 'cause you happened to apply right before the first time the join requests were checked for a long time. Merlinssister, out of curiosity, how many join requests did you accept today? eek

I am very busy at the moment, but I will try to make a new banner for the guild in the next few weeks.

If you want to you can use one of my banners for the official thread, just change thread to guild on it for now.
