red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.

As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn beyond the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must
Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.
Black then white are all I see in my infancy.
red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.
lets me see there is so much more
and beckons me to look through to these infinite possibilities.
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine

AbrAbraxas alliop Pink Floyd's The Wall is an allusion to Existentialism I think. i think it is a stock pile of allusions, also including vast psychological insight and the transition from modern thought to post-modernism and the hopelessness of battling something so much larger than ourselves. just to name a few. do you have any examples? good day lol the album was actually intended to tell the story of syd barret (the original singer/guitarist) and his breakdown due to a case of schizophrenia that was severely agitated by all of the hallucinogenic drugs he was doing at the time. wish you were here was a concept album about roger waters' longing to have his old friend back and how he couldn't because syd had taken it all too far and screwed up his mind. however, many different levels of meanings can be found in the lyrics of both of those albums. i will let you find your own meanings in them, and not taint your thoughts by telling mine
