((This is the background story of how Karasu became the ruler of the Shadow's Faces. I hope it's not that hard to figure out who the "Girl", The Man" or "The Other" are. If you do get confused just pm me and I'll tell you.))

A long time ago the cave that stands guard on the allegiance of killers was ruled by another. The name of that one was Kita and her sword cut down many lives. She sat in the throne of silver and obsidian that her young counterpart now claims as her own. She ruled with a different sort then Karasu draws to herself. Kita had those that thought not of themselves, just of her beauty and power. Her obedient slaves fought for her, and often died because of her arrogance. She did not care for their protection, or their wants, just that they obeyed her every rim. Years past as such and many lives were wasted for her idiotic ideas until someone grew weary of their master's ways. That person rebelled against their master in a hope to bring better things to the people that had nowhere else to go. This person pulled people together with his voice, telling them of the lies and truths of their master. The people were angered by the words of this person, but some believe what he had to say. When Kita had that person imprisoned they went to him. They sat and listened to that person speak divided by nothing but bars. That person's words not only traveled to the ears of the people around him but to another as well. She was a young girl, but power resided deep inside her. She went to the man imprisoned in chains and listened to his words. She loved the way his voice told her the stories of deceit that her master had created and she freed the man knowing her master's anger would soon follow. She took her to her chambers deep in the ground and begged the man to continue his story. It was the girl that drew people to the cause they fought for. Freedom of that woman's hold. It was that girl's voice that people believed. She traveled the tunnels at night whispering the man's stories through out her journey. She met another who aided her in her quest. Together the three were able to turn the people against Kita and her guards. A battle of course ensued when the girl came and begged Kita to step down. The girl was taken capture and the man, that one person that started it all, gave his life for hers. Upon seeing his fall the people stopped in hope that his death was not real. The other ran to his side, followed in suit my the girl. She weeped at his side, wishing with all of her heart that he would open his eyes. She whispered to the great dragon that if it let him breath once more she would give it her soul, her life. The great dragon agreed with her plea and a black light blinded the other and all else around. The man opened his eyes and saw that his love, the girl he had died for, was wrapped in said black light. She fell to the ground and all was silent. Kita stood and stared at the sight of the fallen girl and laughed. She found it foolish that the girl had given up all of her power, all of her standings, just for that one man. The other cried, for she loved the girl with all of her heart, and vowed to spend her life for the girls. The great dragon was then confused by this offer yet humbled by it. The man, which the girl gave her life for, did not have the power to give his for it did not belong to him, but the other did. The great dragon granted the others wish, but only half way. It split the other's life with the girl so they could share one another for all eternity. The girl opened her eyes and the people cheered. With all three of their leaders alive they continued with they battle. It ragged for days, neither side stopping for a moment, until one man was felled. He was the lead guard for Kita and her rumored love. She stooped by his side and watched as he lay and died. With a fluid motion she stood and turned the opposing force. She dropped her sword and declared that her youngest sister would rule them from then on. The remainder of the people, which was few in number, cheered again. Years passed and the man left the cave in search of what he called The Heart of his love. The girl knew nothing of time before her sacrifice, and her kindness soon faded from her eyes. The other stayed by the side of the girl, her love for her never ending even though she had changed. The great dragon watched all of this in disdain and returned to the girl. It told her that she must not become what she had hated in the past. At the confusion of the girl the great dragon stayed by her side, attempting to guide her in the ways she had once held dear.
