Remember, do this in note pad, and when your done make a copy of it and save it as Text.html
Keep a non html copy or you will NOT be able to edit your site.

This is completely untrue. You can modify HTML files. A number of operating systems allow you to simply right-mouse click on the file, and select "Edit." For those that do not, you can simply change the HTML file into a text file, edit it, then change it back.

Actually you don't even have to do that, all you have to do is open it with notepad rather than clicking on it in the file veiw.

Cool, but I was under the impression that for certain applications, you could webdesign in a different format? Is this true, or am I thinking programming base?

I'am not sure if this answers your question, but there are several programs out there that could let you build a web site, not just word pad. The main one which comes to mind is dream weaver, a program that allows you to easily create websites.

You could even create a website...here. As long as you copy it onto something like freewebs.com or whatever it doesn't matter where you initially plan it. And you can also edit a website that you've created (actually created, no just typed) theres always an edit button somewhere. Notepad (if that's what you're using) doesn't save things as pictures or corresponding result if you'd actually made a website. It's just words and symbols which can easily be edited.
