Hey guys. Does anyone know anything about the movie or show, Escaflowne? I've heard some really nice music from the movie. But I have no idea what its about. Anybody seen it? If you have, tell me what you think.

I'd like to know too. o.o I have a VHS of Escaflowne but it's in the middle of the series somewhere so I have no idea what's going on. I want to know so I can decide whether to get to get the rest of it or not.

Omg It is like... one of my most favorite anime movies EVER! How nice it is. and you get to learn Ancient Romanian in one of the songs in there. Now then... The series, supposedly, is really sucky. That's what I've heard from just about everyone I've talked to that watched it. I will tell you to watch the movie first and then if you find that you a super interest in it you should at least check out the series. I haven't seen the series yet because of all those people bogging down my interest in it, but you can if you want to. I'll just tell you that the movie ROX!!!! I can watch it over and over again...
I bought this boxset for the movie that included interviews, the movie, and the soundtrack all for 20 bucks!.... sadly I had to return it because the movie disk was corrupted T____T I never got it again... but now... hehehe... best buy finally has them so off i go to claim it once more!... someday...

Escaflowne is one of my favorites too!!! I first seened it when they aired it on Foxkids. Year later, got the series and movie(DVD of course ^_^).

Ok...I saw it... Very suprisingly, I didn't like it too much. I know! It seemed like a movie I would love, but I wasn't satisfied with it. I expected it to be somewhat confusing, but it never actually explained itself. And the ending! If theirs one way to make me love something, its with a good ending* and the ending to Escaflowne wasn't that. It just sort of ended. I was so suprised that I was thinking maybe I was just too tired when I saw the movie, but no it just didn't appeal to me. Man. I was really bummed out too because I was dieing to see a good animated movie. Oh well sorry guys.
*trust me it was the ending to shows that made me love them like with FMA and Eureka 7, I only started following them after I got hooked by the last episode sweatdrop this was totally unintentional by the way*
