A huge stone pillars stared dauntingly down at the two warriors in the circle, the noon sun seeming frozen straight above them, and a barely there gust of cool wind blowing through unnoticed by a few spectators. Mekatra grinned and winked at Drake. "Ready to go?" She asked, slipping a few throwing daggers from her person.

Drake's long coat flapped at the slight gust of wind, revealing a small glimps of two odd looking handguns with blades connecting the barrels to the handles and what appeared to be a small axe blade, all hanging on his right side. Drake uncheathed his katana and tipped his widbrimmed hat with the tip of the blade. "This should be fun."

"A blast!" She called and frowned. She hated weapons that shot projectiles..
Determined not to show him any fear she nodded and stretched and yawned, winking. "Ladies first?" She teased and unsheathed her own katana.

"Please." Drake encouraged. he had no intention of using his guns except as a last resort in a near death situation, which he did not expect this battle to succom to. Drake gripped the sword in both hands, tilting it ever so slightly as he widened his stance, preparing for the attack.

She darted to the side, doing a very exaggerated slashing motion, one that would b easy to dodge.

Drake stepped backwards avoiding the attack. 'maybe ill have a little fun with her first' drake thought to himself. Drake threw himself towards mekatra, swinging a diagonal slash that would be easier to block than to dodge yet could cause extensive damage if not avoided accordingly.

Meki's blade came up to fend off the attack, but her smaller size made it a difficult blow to easily block and she slid back slightly. She chuckled and pushed his blade backwards, reaching out to just barely tap his forehead, putting a sticker on his face.

Drake cried out a bit as he ripped the sticker off his face. "cute" he said. His eyes began to darken as he jumped into the air and slashed his next attack.

She winced as the blade caressed her skin and caused a bit of blood to well up on her arm. "Owwwie... and thanks, I know I'm cute." She teased, winking at him.

Drake couldnt help but smile a bit. He held his sword ready to block an attack, almost as if afraid to attack again.

She lashed out quickly, an attack that would be impossible to block, his only hope would be dodging. "You're pretty cute too." ^.~

Drake steps to the side allowing Mekatra's attack to miss and her sword to hit the ground. Drake stepped on the tip of her sword, holding it in the ground. "The fact that your flirting makes it even harder for me to attack you." he slid his sword in under Mekatra's and threw hers out of the ground.

"You never said flirting is against the rules." She laughed and jumped backwards, releasing the sword and winking. "You are pretty cute, I wasn't really flirting... I was stating a fact." She said, releasing a dagger into the air, towards him, though lazily.

The dagger pierced clean through one of Drake's palms. Ignoring the pain he pulled it out and spoke. "If you wanted a date, all you had to do was ask. look, im already bleeding for you." He threw the dagger back at Mekatra.

She giggled and winked at him. "If I had wanted a date then I would have asked, I wanted to spar. I'm simply stating a few facts." She rushed forward, taking his hand and licking a bit of the blood away.
