Who would you be? Would you be the demon that joined the Mantra? Or uh... that random soul in N dungeon? Or would you BE the leader of the Mantra?
I think I'd be... that random person that got killed in the conception. Either that or the bargirls. sweatdrop

I'd probably be a familiar of one of the Kotowari leaders; strong, loyal, and higher up on the favored list. Possibly change my loyalty if I was defeated and spared.

That really depends...what happened to people after the conception took place was never really addressed.
If I was someone capable of having a Reason, I would choose some kind of freedom, most likely how it had been before. I understand that if Mutsubi, etc., were to succeed, nobody would be the wiser...but what right do I have to transcribe my own selfish thoughts on the world?
We've all had the desire to eliminate that which causes us pain in the world (as Chiyaki, Hikawa, and Isamu did), and most us probably would do so with the blink of an eye. But pain is something that gives us strength, something that gives us a deeper level of understanding then "a world of the strong", or "a world of solitude and personal paradise". Look how happy and content Isamu and Chiyaki were, going to visit their teacher in the hospital, in contrast to their feelings in the Vortex World. Would either of them have felt any better in a world of their reason? Most likely...but what about the other? Could Isamu survive in a world of the strong? Could Chiyaki be happy in a world of solitude? I very much doubt it. In the world Yuko died for, everyone has a chance to overcome their pain and be happy.
If I couldn't have a Reason, I'd probably just be one of the spirits that acted "normally" in the towns, not one of the ones that followed a Reason. rolleyes
