The Battle Dome Arena
----------------



YOU ARE MIGHTY!


In the center of Ravenor is a great Arena in the shape of a dome, it can be seen any where in Ravenor. Only those with skill and the passion to fight come to throw their lives in harms way.

Inside the Arena is a huge, standing well over 300 feet with a huge, over 500 foot wide dome ceiling. The lights on the ceiling shine down on the arena floor. Which is new ground, untouched, not disturbed in anyway, not a drop of blood has been shed. There are borders powered but magic fields to keep the stands safe. The stands are at least 15 feet off the ground and enable the watchers to see everything in every angle, not a instant goes by that the people don' see.

The arena floor is capable of changing in which case can become anywhere from a 30 foot pit to a Metal steel floor, to a raging pool of boiling lava. The doors are at least 45 feet tall and open with the wind of honor and glory flowing though them. At the center of the dome ceiling is a window so the gods may witness such greatness and watch the battles from above. At the end of the arena, looking down at the floor which any battle could take place in, is a grand statue holding an undying flame, it burns bright for those who are meant to survive and fight another day.

Arena Settings

Now the fun part, again the Arena can change into whatever setting is listed below, so choose. For those who fight using hand to hand combat styles, be careful if you have NO POWERS, you could be at a disadvantage here, unless you can prove otherwise. But again choose your settings, the opponent must also agree. DO NOT FORCE A SETTING!! Meaning if your opponent or opponents choose to pick another, don't go against it, see if you all can agree on one setting. Also once the setting is chosen you wont be able to change it once the battle has begun.


Setting I
:: The Arena will form a large pit in the middle about 60 feet wide and 30 feet deep. The pit remains unchanged, just a simple hole in the ground, with cement walls and a hardy packed dirt floor.

Setting II :: A winter wonderland, to say the least. The ground turns into tundra and permafrost, covered by a layered of powdered snow. Hail, snow, and sleet also fall from the ceiling at a moderate pace. Temperatures will drop as well, to nearly freezing.

Setting III :: Talk about a weaponmaster's dream! The pit transforms into a miniature Roman colosseum, complete with a sandy floor, and all manner of weapons dotting the walls. Swords, lances, guns, claws, if you can dream it, it is there.

Setting IV :: Water water everywhere, but not a drop to drink. In all honesty, this is probably one of the hardest arenas to take advantage of. The pit fills completely with saltwater, submerging and threatening to drown both combatants, not to mention the stinging effect salt will have on the eyes and wounds.

Setting V :: ((INFERNO MATCH!!))It's getting hot in here...Seriously though, volcanos are not the greatest place to fight. The middle of the ring will be drastically reduced to a small 10 meter circle, all the rest of the floor becoming molten lava. The heat is sure to make you work up a sweat, too!

Setting VI
:: Now I'm free; free fallin'! No, really, you are, if you make the wrong move. The entire pit seems to fade away, leaving both fighters standing on one of hundreds of small platforms that hover 80 feet over the ground. Be careful you don't fall, though. It's a long way down...and once you fall, survive or not the match is over.

Setting VII
:: Welcome to the Jungle! Actually, it's quite unwelcome. Trees will put out of the ground in the arena using magic to grow within minutes.The thick foliage is sure to restrict the movement of even the most deft of thieves, and the trees will stop most large attacks. The humidity itself can be enough to stop a man cold. Or hot, as it would be.

Setting VIII
:: Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. Indeed, welcome to Hell! Scorching heats welcomes you, not to mention the brimstone that will make your eyes water. Of course, that won't matter very much. All the combatants will be surrounded in utter darkness, invisible to each other.

Setting IX
:: Yay; the light at the end of the tunnel! This is Heaven, alright. Of course, you should be celebrating. Both fighters are rendered invincible (but not invulnerable) so fight like you mean it! Also, the massive amounts of mana in this place will keep you from running out of spell energy.

Setting X
:: In the citaaaaay!!! Giant building will surround all the fighters, with who knows how many cars, fire hydrants, and other pieces of a cityscape all around them. The only thing absent are the people. Besides that, though, every part of the concrete jungle is here.

Add the Time Bomb:

To have fun in these settings you can even add a bomb, not just any bomb a time bomb that gives each opponent at least 5 to 10 post, which ever way you set it. Now you can choose this, but if now then they are at normal settings, and by the way if there is a time bomb the bomb is hidden and cant be stopped in any way, so think hard, act fast, and make your move!

Title on the line: Champion Title

Number of fighters: First come first served, only 8 fighters may join.

Date: Starts early December

Requirements:

Must become a Ranked Fighter
Must be active on this guild.
Must have profile approved by a mod/morik.
Must follow rules of the thread
And must have the goal to beat all the rest.


How to enter:


First you must become a ranked fighter, how? just Pm me saying you want to be part of the tournament and you will be registered as a ranked fighter, please no profiles just have the subject of the PM say "GRAND OPENING TOURNAMENT". After that you are in, and ready to go to have a chance to win the prize and the title of this tournament.

Purpose:
This event is for the Grand Opening of my Battle Dome Arena and meant to starts thing here with a bang. It is meant to attract skilled and new rpers alike, to direct traffic to this Thread and Guild. With this opening event, it will bring things to life in the guild and give it some action and entertainment to look forward to. This event is for fun, and glory, and of course gold. You are here for a reason, rather you want the title and bragging rights or the riches and greed of the prize money, or maybe you are here to test your self, test your character, to see where you stand, to learn and gain experience, to see battles that have the potential of becoming epic memorial battles, to take part in the action, the thrill and amusing battles to add to your character's history, to add to their story. Boredom kills my friends and this is something to take part in and rid you of it. Whatever the cause or reason, you are here, so don't blink, climb to your goal and show everyone your might, show us who character is over all "better". Show us a CHAMPION!!!

For those of you who wish not to fight or didn't make it as one of the eight, you all are welcome to watch the matches, post comments and cheer for a favorite. Over all people, have fun, and don't start drama, don't bring drama, don't be trouble for everyone, get along and talk to one another. keep in mind this is no chatterbox, so you may have OOC (out of character) chats and whatnot, but more fighting, less OOC please. It gets annoying to see random unrelated conversations over a character battle for this is what this thread was made for. To take part or watch a fight. Inferno, the Fire Demon


Titles: “The Strongest Fire Demon”. “Commander of Hell’s Armies”, “The Prize Fighter”, “The Fire Elemental”, “Lord of the burning Fortress”.

Age: Unknown, some believe, he entered this world over one thousand years ago.

Race: Fire demon, born in the fires of hell, Inferno was created out of fires of Hell. Fire demons are beings from hell; rumored to be created by the devil himself as his spawns and or Elites. His race, the fire demons are a dieing race, he is one of only a hand full, most others calm to be fire demons but are half breeds and or not from hell, they don’t carry the power to use and or manipulate fire as well as a true fire demon. Firestarters, Warlocks, Mages and pyros are not fire demons and compared to them, they have no chance up against one who controls the fires of hell.

What he is: Inferno is not only a Fire Demon but a Fire Elemental, as well as Pyromancer. So his skills as a fire user is one of a kind. A pyromancer is a master of fire. Their skill selection includes some of the most damaging effects. Fire works quite well in defeating many of the typical foes encountered. Many of these skills use large amounts of energy, but the amount of devastation they can unleash against groups of foes is difficult to match by most others. He is a fire entity on a skill level that should never be taken likely.

Appearance: Inferno wears no armor, or anything along those lines, he often is seen in a black cloak (fire proof), with his face hidden a mask. The mask is more of a demon skull made of Adamantium, a fearsome sight. When threaten or in battle, Inferno will throw off the cloak to show his true colors. His body is consumed entirely in fire, an eternal flame, one that doesn’t burn out. His visible body which is 6 feet tall, is more of a demon form that is again entirely covered and surrounded in fire, almost like the human torch from the Fantastic Four. His eyes are red, but have a special ability to them. Within this body of his, is a simple structure. This “structure” is like a skeleton but the hardest/toughest parts of his body are the skull and the chest. His face, which few have seen is a nightmare, most foes upon seeing his true form coward away. The heat around him is intense, and very dangerous to come in close contact with. He is capable have having super heated plasma barriers around him as well and getting close to Inferno often ends in an opponent facing the fire, the heat, and all of the other defenses of Inferno, making him a dangerous opponent to face up close and personal.

Abilities: Inferno has many abilities as listed before…

Fire/Element Abilities:
Inferno has the power to use, manipulate, and create fire where need be. As long as there is air or some form of energy to ignite even a spark, Inferno can form flames anywhere and use them as he wishes. Inferno can raise his fire to intense levels in an instant, and has the ability to go from normal fire to Hell’s Fire. Hell’s Fire is a “demonic flame”, it consumes his entire body and can defend as well as attack. Hell’s Fire will burn though a lot of armor, metal, body, soul, etc. It is mostly a last resort thing, due to it burning a lot of his energy. Hell’s Fire is capable of burning Inferno’s opponent’s vary soul, one thing most foes can’t recover from along with the effects as well as the scars that stay with them to the end of their days.
He can raise the heat around him to such an intense level that the ground, rocks, soil around him breaks down and becomes magma and lava, with this he can control the lava to form into any weapon, like a fist, swords, and other objects to his liking. He can also use it to form walls and spheres around him to defend against his foes. The more ground that is rock the more lava that can be formed. Inferno can even have a stream of lava blast into a beam like burst with great speed.
Inferno can generate heat around him up to over 5,000 degrees. He can raise the temperature equal to that of the Sun’s. Of course this takes time, but he is very well capable of doing so. Inferno’s heat can even suffocate his opponent. Inferno can even use the air around him as a weapon, it is revealed that Inferno is not actually useless around water. He can split apart the water molecules in the air into the elements of hydrogen and oxygen. With this he can use his flame or even a spark to ignite the hydrogen (which is flammable) to create flames and or make them explode within the area, depending on the amount of fire and water, will decide the size of the explosion.
Super Heated Plasma, a danger element that Inferno uses, this actually isn’t fire but can be used in the same way. It is used when an opponent decides to get up close and personal. Inferno can use this plasma in many ways, mostly to burn an opponent and defend with strong barriers. Super Heated Plasma can run though his body and can often mix with other elements and melt though almost any metal including iron and steel. Its capable of even creating a strong source of U.V. Light and give off radiation. This can effect an opponent in many different ways. His abilities stretch out far enough with endless possibilities.

Inferno’s Red Fire Demon Eyes Ability
:
Beyond the demon mask of Inferno is his face, which is unknown to many. Only the greatest of warriors are given the opportunity to look upon Inferno’s true form in epic battles. The mask shields his face with the same material of metal that Carnage is made of. Only two openings can be seen, which carry the demon red eyes. Inferno in an early age never could awaken this ability. Even in HATE form he could never use it and in Chaos Form the ability stops cold. He can only use this while being clam, with a lot of concentration. The ability takes little energy but only lasts for a few minutes. The opponent has but one warning and one warning only. When Inferno’s eyes begin to change.
Eye contact is required. When executed, the ability traps the target in an illusionary world that is completely controlled by the user. While it only takes a few seconds to complete in the real world, the user can make it seem as if days have passed for the target. Depending on the user's whim, they can either torture their target for days on end, or make them relive a traumatic event over and over. Once the ability is finished, the target will not be able to fight for some time, and left with no balance. A burning feeling will travel though the opponent’s entire body with the use of magic based power and energy. This ultimately renders his foe useless. The Target after recovery should be fine, if they don't suffer complete mental collapse.
While the illusion is never the same twice, some elements always remain. The first and foremost similarity is the burning moon, which hangs in the sky of each illusion. The moon, in turn, casts a red light throughout the illusion, giving the background a blood-red appearance while the figures within the illusion are solid black with white outlines. Inferno can make the opponent feel their death hundred times over even. There are downfalls to this ability of course, one is Inferno can only use this on one person at a time. Second After the damage has been done to the target, even though he used little of his energy, the side effects on his eyes effect his sight for a short amount of time.



Energy Abilities
:
Inferno also has the ability to use “Chaos Energy”. Chaos Energy is a pure destructive force. It’s used to break though shields and the toughest barriers. Its not a type of energy that can be absorbed either. The energy is capable of breaking down the molecule structure of almost anything and breaks down elements as well, and when combined with his fire, it can prove to be a powerful ability. This type of energy is only capable of being released from Inferno’s weapon alone. Read more about Inferno’s weapon Carnage under “weapons”.
Inferno has a lot of energy but looses it up in every battle. Inferno’s energy supply is completely different from his weapon’s supply. His weapon Carnage uses only chaos energy, no other purpose while Inferno’s energy is used for controlling lava and fire. Inferno has the ability to also lock on to his opponent’s energy source, if given the chance.


Other Abilities
:
Strength wise, Inferno is not the best when it comes to showing off muscles. In fact being a Demon gives him strength beyond human muscles but otherwise Inferno is not one to try and punk his opponents or do any of the heavy lifting.
Flying wise, he cannot fly, he uses his “Fire Rocket” to burst into flames and blast though the area, using air as fuel, so he uses little energy. This also picks up speed like a rocket/missile.
Speed wise, Inferno isn’t fast at all either. He depends on his defense a lot and often times doesn’t prefer moving unless he has to.
Inferno can also pick up energy signs and life auras or life forces, and pin-point them.
Inferno’s fighting skills and experience is not to be taken likely, with his fire as his main element and his “ace” up his sleeve being chaos energy, he is a force to be reckoned with.

Weapons: Inferno is not one for using weapons, but he does have some. One is his whip of fire, a powerful whip that is consumed in Hell’s Fire. It’s his original weapon and he rarely uses it. Its mostly used in close encounters and escaping enemies.
His main weapon is his pitchfork named CARNAGE. Its name says it all, it’s the weapon that carries the “Chaos Energy”. His weapon also can absorb other energy including “pure energy” and convert it into its own energy supply. It’s his most prideful weapon he has ever carried.
Carnage, has its own soul, one that is fused with Inferno himself, and so the weapon was destined to be his. Carnage is no ordinary pitchfork, it acts on its own, and at one time has even consumed Inferno.
The pitchfork is able to hold and stored Chaos Energy, a pure destructive unstable energy with one purpose, to destroy. The reason why Carnage is not destroyed by Chaos is its soul purpose was to use Chaos, it was made of it,, its not just a metal pitchfork, it’s a crystal like rod, very tiny, held in the center of the pitchfork, in it is negative energy, it builds up with pressure and at will can be released as a weapon. The crystal like rod acts like a gun, but with out a trigger, and it is held in place though a simple structure and a strong will, hints the reason why Carnage has a soul, then its outer surface is an unbreakable metal, one of a kind. Carnage will only obey Inferno so stealing it or touching it or attempting to break it is useless, unless you start a chain reaction within the weapon, and that’s unlikely.
Carnage it self has a long history, and has been in Inferno’s family for generations.

Transformations: Inferno can’t really transform, in fact, he cant but he has levels of power. His body being flames and all, can change at will, so he can shape shift but it drains his energy fast, so he rarely does. He has different forms of power, Hellfire also known as “Hate Form” and his ultimate last resort form “Chaos Form”.

Hell’s Fire Form (Hate Form): Hell’s fire form or otherwise known as Hate From is the first level to Inferno “powering up”. His flames around him are normal flames but can instantly burst into Hell’s fire giving off a strong aura as well as a intense heat source. In this form its also known as Hate form because, he can get corrupted in power due to the fact of using Carnage, this happens when you see red lightning flash around him, and five dark spheres appear around him. The spheres swirl around him in a fashion and then collide in the middle where Inferno stands, creating a strong barrier, when the barrier breaks in an explosion. It release a huge amount of energy, and as the smoke clears up, you see ancient red glowing signs all around him, when those disappear, the transformation is complete, he is in Hate form. While in this form, his energy doubles along with his power, attacks and speed, and he stays in this form until he is defended or killed. That’s the downfall of it and it uses some of his life energy, Due events in his life he is not able to go into this form ever again, no matter what, he has lost this ability, so he is only bursts into Hell’s Fire and increasing his attack power.

CHAOS FORM: In this Form, he is at his full potential of power. Combining his Hell’s Fire with Chaos Energy, he makes his attacks more deadly. In this form he is like a heat seeking missile, he will instantly lock on to heat source, life force, or aura of his opponent and launch at them in incredible speed. This happens when Inferno has no way of defeating his foe so as a last resort he will channel his heat energy into a strong force and make it a barrier or shield around himself, this will protect him from the next step. The next step is Carnage release a huge amount of Chaos energy which is draw in by Inferno and combine to make a powerful Chaos Shield. The shield will protect him from almost anything, anything that comes into contact with it, faces total destruction, he also uses Chaos energy to fuel his fire making his heat intense to a level that cant be beat, hes able to perform more attack based off of chaos energy, and its also like facing a ticking time bomb. Inferno will land a great distance away from his opponent, summon the energy within, meaning his own heat energy, again you will see red lightning and sparks of energy around him. His eyes will go white and static like as the chaos shield forms. His aura will take a jump as well as his fire power, his Flames around him will get wild and almost uncontrollable with chaos fused in them. After this Form is complete it will release a massive shockwave form the center of the floor which most likely will break apart during this event. In this Form he drains a lot of energy, so its not like “Hate Form” its much stronger but last a lot shorter in time wise. One word of advise to his foes, in this state, he is nothing to toy with.

Attacks: Inferno has many attacks, from defense to offense, Inferno’s fire power can be fierce. Inferno has simple and common attacks to using signature moves and some of the most powerful attacks. His abilities allow him to perform attacks and defenses that his opponent may not be able too, giving him the advantage.

COMPLETE ANNIHILATION: His most powerful attack, this is his finisher. Inferno must be in Chaos Form to perform this move, in which case it takes and uses a massive amount of energy, and there are two versions to this attack. The First version is his most powerful move, in which after achieving Chaos Form, he will use his “fire rocket” to blast high into the sky, once reaching the point where he can gather the sun’s rays, he will extend his hand upward, where he will gather energy from the sun’s ray, as well as his own energy, put this in the mix of making a chaos energy ball and fusing it with Hell’s fire and you have a ball of destruction, now he continues to fill this with pure destructive energy, and because its fused with Hell’s fire, getting close to even stopping it may cost his opponent’s big time. Once the ball is complete it should be huge in size, much bigger than Inferno, and then from a safe distance in the sky, he will launched the ball straight down to his target, the effects is like an atomic bomb, with massive heat and massive shockwaves, and of course a huge explosion, very unlikely that one will be able to survive a level of attack like this one.
His other version is much weaker, but he doesn’t use as much energy, again he must be in Chaos Form for this move. In the second version after reaching Chaos From his Chaos shield will expand and he will launch into the air with his Fire Rocket and then with intense force gather Chaos energy around him as he slams back into the ground and or floor, this will cause the shield to launch all out a huge wave of energy, and then massive arms of Chaos with appear where ever the shield’s energy form and launch outward in all direction, the arms instantly lock on to the foes’ aura and or life energy. It such a massive attack that being hit by any of these is most likely a certain death, but there are those who survive, and live to see another day, but those are the ones who have scares from the attack.

FIRESTORM: This would be his signature move, those that know Inferno know this move, its his favorite move to use and one of the first attacks he has learned. This attack is special in more ways than one, like he doesn’t have to go into his other forms to use this move, he can use it whenever he pleases as long as he has enough energy, Energy wise it doesn’t take a lot of energy, if he is out side and its clear skies. Inferno when using this moves goes on the attack and has a defense as well. Again he launches into the sky and extended both his arms, he summons energy from the sun and using the fire around him he can create up to thousands and thousands of fireballs, when he slams his hands together, the attack is launched. Thousands and thousands of fire balls will reign down on the opponent, due to the fact that there is many almost an entire arena is covered with this attack and if they block and survive the first few fireballs many others will take their place, so a strong barrier or shield is required to survive this attack.

MOVELIST: Besides his two well known attacks Inferno has many other attacks, fire and chaos based. Here is a short list of some of his common yet well known attacks.

Fist of lava , Chaos Shield , Fire Death Strikes,

Spit Fire Assault , Lava Prison, Whip of Fire,
These are some of his most used attacks, but again with the ability to control fire and lava along with Chaos energy, he can have a whole arsenal of attacks, its best to not get in one of Inferno’s set up, once in one of those, the match is pretty much over,

The Legend of the Fire Demons: At one time, there were many fire demons, but in a long history of war, they started to disappear, those that survived those the years are the most mighty. Fire Demon were made for war and battle, and do well in those settings, and would often times change the course of battle in war. One of the most powerful of the fire Demons was Salazar, in the ranks he was the weakest of the strong, but any other lower class demon was no match for him, he would later have a son, Inferno. Over time, one by one fire demons would die and their race would die out, even the greatest of them would disappear. Only a hand full survive, but one will stand above them all, this would be Inferno, legend has in the battle of Heaven and Hell Inferno will become the “God of Fire” due to him being the strongest fire demon ever to exist and challenging the current God of Fire, in times of war the ranks change and Inferno would be UNMATCHED in the element of fire. Inferno’s skills would be so great even the element water wouldn’t effect him, but again this is only a legend, how ever Inferno holds the title “Commander of Hell”. There are many different stories about Inferno but they all end the same. He was the greatest of all the Fire Demons.
