Felicia Wandered into the local arcade. it was between a small book store that had over 50% of it Manga and a figurine store. She had picked up the latest volume of the popular shojo series, Hana Kimi. She had yet to look at the figurine store. She pushed the door open to the arcade. There weren't many people since it was still light outside. A few teenagers were playing racing games or the action type games with killing. She moved on to spot a machine that caught her eye.
She approached the machine that was labeled, 'Dance Dance Ponekolution'. She looked at it as her eyes grew wide. It was 10 cents a round, cheaper than most places that take a dollar a round. She put a dime into the coin slot and selected 'standard'. she picked a familiar remix of Butterfly and she began to follow the arrows.

Fleance had been ditched by Kyou when he'd grown tired of "baby sitting" as he called it, and now Fleance was on his own with a few dollars Kyo had flinged at him as he ran off after some cute girl poneko. His shoulders were slumped and he was lazliy glancing left and right at the stores on either side. So far nothing had caught his interest besides a candy store he had hit up a few minutes ago. Fleance popped another hard candy into his mouth and continued walking.
However, he nearly swallowed it whole when he came across an arcade. Fleance's eyes lit up and he had to keep himself in check so he wouldn't rush in and look stupid in front of all the other hard core gamers he secretly wanted to impress. He kept his eyes peeled for his favorite game. Dance Dance Ponekolution. Kyousei would make fun of him from time to time, but for some reason he was also really good at it too. Fleance shrugged at his thoughts, but when he came to the machine, some other poneko girl was already engaged in a game. He moaned to himself and waited for her to fail. He snickerd, but when he looked at the screen, she was actually pretty good.

Felicia could spot a poneko boy out of the corner of her eye. He looked cute. Felicia blushed a bit as she realized that he was waiting for the game. It was a good thing that she was starting on the third and final song. She followed the arrows clumsily, trying not to seem worthless in the game. And then, the song ended. She looked back a bit to look at the boy who stood there.
" um.. hello" She said softly as she turned around fully, still on the platform of the game. Her status went away from the screen and it returned back to the main screen with the tutorial and rankings and such. She fiddled with paw in paw. "Would you mind if we... played together?" She asked with a smile on her face even though she had invited a total stranger to play a video game with her...

Fleance didn't expect her to invite him to do a face off, and first he just shrugged, not knowing what to say. So he joined her up on the DDP platform and inserted his coin. He then straightened up to smile at her and say, "All right, bring it!" Kyou would have hit him for saying something so lame, and when he realized how dumb it had sounded, he blushed and took his spot in the center of his platform. "S-So do you want to pick or should I?" He asked nerveously, he wasn't really good at picking the songs on DDP, it felt like the hardest part of the game to him because it never seemed to want to go in the direction he wanted it, so he half hoped she would, and the other half wanted to see the song selection and see if it had his all time favorite and his "seceret weapon".

Felicia smiled happily as he seemed eager to play. she inserted her coin to enable the 2-player feature of the DDP machine. She giggled at his comment to her. It was just the thing that Tamaki would say to her. "oh um. you can choose song if you want." She said. She didn't know what this boy liked. And all the songs she liked were really 'girly' themed. "oh, by the way, i'm Felicia and you are...?" she asked as the warnings came up stating that you could slip and to not have volume too high or you might bother other people and stuff.

As he stood straight from inserting his coin, Fleance smiled at her and said "Me? I'm Fleance, its nice to meet you Felicia, and in advance, shall we do best out of? That way we don't start a fight or something." He winked and went back to picking a song. He was biting his lip as he looked for the song, but he gave a short laugh when he found it. "Aha!" He jumped on his song selection. 'Oh Oh Oh Sexy Vampire'. It was a pretty hard song, but it had a good beat and a fun story to it.

Felicia looked at Fleance with a puzzled look. 'when did this turn into a challenge?' she thought. she smiled to herself and decided to accept this vague challenge. She heard a familiar tune of the song from the machine. "This song is awesome!" She said while she changed herself to the 7-foot hard, avoiding the challenge mode for the game. She stood on the metal center part of her platform and waited for the boy to choose his difficulty.
She wondered if he was a daredevil that would play challenge. She knew that it had included hands and a few mines in it.

Fleance did indeed choose challenge, and he nodded, his tongue sticking out of his mouth as he tried to concentrate. There was no talking for him while he was concentrating, for example: If his owner tried to ask him a question while he was playing Guitar Hero on hard, he'd have to start the song all over again because of how much it threw him off. But now he was focusing on throwing all of his weight at arrow after arrow, because that's usually what it took to get the hits to register on a game that had been played so many times-and he didn't weigh that much to begin with. Felicia held her game play up to almost Feance's level. It was hard for her but at least the arrows were fast for her lack of patience when it comes to these things. She tried to keep up and avoid thinking any thoughts or she might fail and lose the current status she has as a 'challenger' to him. She held the backing as the arrows were too quick for her. one hand p her balance while her feet moved to the beat.
(( in simple terms, 9feet challenge = incredibly hard. challenge means there is something harder in that round example being a part that crazy slows down with huge numbers of arrows then HUGE speed up with a bunch of arrows, throwing off concentration. ))

[[-Points to her face- Does this look like it understands you? =A=]] Fleance, noticing her weakness, thought he might say something to throw her off, he smirked, but right at that point his screen became nearly impossible. Truth was, he never managed to pass this song at the stage he was at, but he wasn't about to surrender. 'I WISH I HAD MORE FEET!' was all he could think, but he still wasn't talking because it was still too hard. It was the middle of the song at this point, and it looked like it was going to be a tie - all right for Fleance at this rate.

Felicia's eyes were almost glued to the screen and the moving motion of arrows running up the screen. The middle of the song; most crucial part of winning a DDR competition. She began to hum along with the song as she started to get serious, even though she wasn't better when she got serious. Her body moved to the beat of the song as the rhythm seemed to float though her chestnut coloured hair.
