I'm thinking we should just erase what's on there and start over with big name stuff and slowly work our way into lesser known stuff. Plus what ever gets uploaded for recs and whatnot. What do you guys think? I think we should also do multiple albums for bands, not necessarily discographies, but more than one (unless that's all they have). http://doom-crew.blogspot.com

I'm thinking we should start with
1. Black Sabbath
2. Saint Vitus
3. Candlemass
4. Pentagram/Bedemon
and then start working our way through the other types and whatnot.
One thing I'd like to add before we get this started is to make sure the info on the files are correct (year, song titles, artist, etc), before they're uploaded.

I have the first four Saint Vitus albums. It might not hurt to put up Pagan Altar and Witchfinder General? It looks like you kinda want to go in a timeline kinda fashion and those should definitely be up there with the early runners.

The War Starter I have the first four Saint Vitus albums. It might not hurt to put up Pagan Altar and Witchfinder General? It looks like you kinda want to go in a timeline kinda fashion and those should definitely be up there with the early runners. Sort of but also taking influence/impact into account. I'm thinking we should get the first 5 picked out, and see who's uploading what. I'm thinking: 1. Black Sabbath - the first six 2. Saint Vitus - I guess all 3. Candlemass - the first four and maybe the S/T 4. Pentagram - the first four + Bedemon 5. Witchfinder General - Both That should be more than enough to get us started. I have all of these so I can do which ever.

No complaints, really. Maybe an early Paul Chain release or two could be added in there, but I think the earliest I have is his first CD In The Darkness.

I'll start working on getting Sabbath's stuff uploaded, go ahead and start with whatever (just post what your doing). As for Paul Chain, I'm thinking we should wait a little bit. I think the next five should be stuff from other types of doom. Then after that we'll get some of his stuff up. Wow, I just realized I have over 1 gig of his stuff. Plus a couple things that haven't downloaded yet.

At the moment my uploadings limited due to shitty bandwith restrictions and lack of most of my music. Will be able to upload a few albums that are needed though. I can do pentagrams first two and St Vitus' Born Too Late easily enough.

Edit: I will edit your post to include my uploads. Ok, I got Black Sabbath done, I love how you can upload multiple albums at a time. I'm going to move onto Pentagram/Bedemon, then I'll finish up SV. Go ahead and start with Candlemass when you finish those.

How do we want to handle files over 100mb? Separate it into two parts and upload them or just use Megaupload?
