Ava has soft, shoulder-length brown hair and bright green eyes. Her hair is layered and has a slight wave to it near the ends, but it's straight for the most part. She has fair skin and a slender build. Because she's a down-to-earth and simple kind of girl, she doesn't pay much attention to her looks. She's a pretty girl, according to most people who've seen her, but it's all-natural beauty. She doesn't bother herself with make-up, jewelry, or fancy clothes. In fact, she could be described as being a "plain Jane."
After the experiment, however, her appearance changed slightly. There was nothing all that drastic that occurred, except the Kriketune ears that had sprouted from her head. However, to better fit with her new body, she wears clothes that make her resemble an actual Kriketune - a red kimono-style dress with a mushroom-shaped bottom that ends at her knees. The bottom half of the kimono is decorated with yellow lines and blue dots. She wears black leggings with curled toes (like Kriketune feet) and a black shawl with extra-long sleeves.

Ava has always been very laid-back and easy-going. If she could be described in one phrase, it would be "down-to-earth." She's a bit on the quiet side, but only because she doesn't mind daydreaming or getting lost in her thoughts. She's very in-tune with nature, since she loves spending time outside, whether it be sprawled out in the grass, soaking up the warm sun, or resting under the shade of a tree reading a book.
Quiet as she may be, Ava is a very sweet and friendly girl. She's also a pacifist and avoids conflict whenever she can. She doesn't make many friends, since she's perfectly content spending time with herself and her Pokemon. But being the kind and caring person that she is, if she did ever meet someone that would befriend her - someone who would become special to her - she would latch onto that person and follow them whole-heartedly. She is fiercely loyal to those important to her, be it her Pokemon, loved ones, or dear friends.

H I S T O R Y
Ava was born in a small little town in the Johto region - Azalea Town, to be exact. She grew up as a perfectly normal, content little girl. She'd go off into the Ilex Forest every so often to play with the Pokemon there. Living in a town with a gym, she saw many trainers come through. Since she had always loved Pokemon and being outdoors since she was little, naturally when she turned ten she decided to start her own Pokemon journey. She traveled to New Bark Town to get her first Pokemon and Pokdex. Like any other trainer, she traveled the entire region collecting badges and entered the Pokemon League. It took her two years to get through the Johto and Kanto regions and face the Pokemon League at the Indigo Plateau. Afterwards, she opted to continue her journey as a trainer in the Sinnoh region. There, she saw different types of Pokemon she'd never seen before in the regions she traveled. It was in the Sinnoh region that she caught and befriended her best Pokemon, Kriketune. It was just a young Kriketot when they first met, but unlike any other Pokemon she had caught before, she formed a close and unbreakable bond with it. It was, in fact, her very best friend. She never even called it into its pokeball, unless it was absolutely necessary.

Four years passed since the start of her Pokemon journey back in the Johto region. By that point, she had certainly made a name for herself. Although she was never an outspoken person looking for glory or trophies for herself, she was still an accomplished trainer who even made it to the top three in the Pokemon Leagues. After her travels in the Sinnoh region, she had decided to return back home to Azalea town for a break from her journey. It had been a long time since she'd been home, and she was in need of some rest and relaxation for a couple of months. It was during that time in which she recieved a letter - an invitation to an event that would change her life forever.

User ImageName: Melodie Hart
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Height: was 5'2", now 5'3"
Weight: was 99lbs, now 106lbs
Old Appearance: [x] [x] Melodie has beautiful waist-long and shiny black hair. Her eyes are a deep chocolate and her skin is olive-colored. She wears a pink t-shirt over a long-sleeve white shirt with a light denim skirt. She has white, thigh-high socks with black buckle shoes. Melodie ties back her long hair with a big red ribbon. She wears little red heart earrings and a black collar necklace. She loves dressing fashionably and looking her best in public (even if she lives in a really small town).
Hybrid Appearance:
Personality: Melodie has always had a very snobbish attitude. She grew up wealthy for the first seven years of her life and her father still sends her lavish gifts for birthdays and holidays, so naturally she turned out to be a bit of a spoiled brat. Around people, she likes to act as if she were the best thing since sliced bread, showing off and acting perfect. When she was younger, her personality made her quite rude toward others. Melodie's personality improved slightly after meeting her neighbor and first friend, Caitlin. Melodie was pretty rude to Caitlin at first, but she apologized (kinda...) and they slowly became friends. Melodie was definitely the dominant one in the relationship, making all of the decisions and always taking the lead. It was her nature to be this way, but it was even easier since Caitlin was blind. Gradually, Melodie's heart seemed to soften when it came to Caitlin and their relationship had a lot more meaning. Now, Melodie still acts really bossy and dominant, but she always considers Caitlin's feelings. Sometimes, Melodie even voices Caitlin's feelings before she does...
Character History: I didn't always live in a tiny little cottage in the Johto region. In fact, I was born in Hoenn. I lived in a fancy mansion in Rustboro City with Mommy and Daddy. Daddy's family was very rich. When he was only sixteen, he met Mommy. They bumped into each other at a party or a convention or something. They fell in love at first sight and got married two years later. A year later, I came into the picture. I loved Mommy and Daddy very much, and they loved me. But after five years of being happily married, they didn't seem to love each other as much as they had. Grandpa passed away when I was four and Daddy got all of his money and his house. It was then that Daddy started staying later and later at work and going on long business trips.

But I didn't care; I still loved Daddy. When he went away or worked late, I loved him all the more when he came home. And I know Daddy still loved me very much, even though he was away. But Mommy didn't seem to think so. I still remember when she said that awful word that almost ruined my life - divorce. I was six years old when Mommy asked Daddy for a divorce. Daddy didn't want it. He still really loved us. But I can remember them yelling - Mommy yelling at Daddy about how much his money changed him and Daddy yelling at her for wanting to leave. He still loved Mommy, and she did more yelling than he did. He begged her to stay.

On my seventh birthday, Daddy gave me my most treasured gift - my first Pokemon. It was a Growlithe. I named him Seiji after Daddy's best friend, Seiji Midou. I always liked it when Mr. Midou would visit. He was very nice to me, and he was very handsome. I'll admit, I still have a little crush on him. Seiji, my Growlithe that is, became my best friend, especially in the troubling year ahead.

Daddy was sincere in his gift-giving, but it was not enough to make Mommy love him again. One day, he decided to give up fighting Mommy and let her have her divorce. Mommy took me and Seiji to the Johto region to live in a very small town - Cherrygrove City. It was hardly a city at all. I remember Mommy telling me on the trip that it was the smallest town in the whole region...joy. Daddy gave us enough moeny for the trip and for the little house we would forever be living in. I guess it wasn't so bad. It had a garden out front and my room was kind of nice. Of course, it wasn't as nice as our mansion in Rustboro, but at least it was comfortable.

Daddy wrote a lot of letters. I loved getting letters from him. I waited by the mailbox every afternoon. I wrote to Daddy a lot too. My letters were always really long. I hated being so far away from Daddy. And he didn't have time to visit. I never talked to anyone in Cherrygrove, not even Mommy. I was secretly mad at her for leaving Daddy, but I never said anything. The only one I ever talked to was Seiji. That is, until I met Caitlin...

Caitlin Freisen lived next door with her parents. They came to visit Mommy and me one day. Caitlin had brought her Pokemon Eevee with her and she stayed close to her parents - like she didn't want to be there. It didn't take long to figure out Caitlin was blind. I didn't need figure it out for myself, since her parents told Mommy and I anyway. Caitlin looked like a shy girl. Mommy told me to take her and show her my room while she and Caitlin's parents got to know each other. I did as she said and took Caitlin upstairs. Looking back now, I regret acting the way I did toward her. But back then, I didn't care about anyone but myself and Seiji, especially not a little blind girl.

I knew Caitlin was blind and any normal person would have at least helped her get around in an unfamiliar house. But I said awful things to her - "You'd better get used to finding your way around on your own if you're going to live on being blind," "Can't you climb the stairs by yourself? You do have stairs at your house don't you?" "Why did Mommy insist I show you my room anyway. It's not like you can see it," "Do our parents expect us to be good friends or something? Because I don't need someone as weak as you holding me back." I was a real brat back then. Caitlin when back to her parents and cried to her mother. Mommy gave me a nasty look, but I didn't react to it at all. I didn't like her either. I didn't like anyone but Daddy and Seiji (well, both Seiji's). Caitlin went home after that. I was sure she didn't expect for us to ever be friends.

Unfortunately, Mommy was very upset with me. She forced me to go over to the Freisen's house the next day and apologize to Caitlin for all of the mean things I said. I left the next morning with Seiji, but I didn't really want to go over there, so I just went for a walk by the water on the west side of town instead. My walk with Seiji gave me a lot of time to think, however. It was well after noon when I finally came to a decision - I may have went too far with Caitlin and she was probably an okay person. That, and my new life in this city probably wasn't going to go all that smoothly if I didn't meet some kids my age to hang out with. So, I mustered up an apology that sounded somewhat sincere and left for Caitlin's house.

Well, my apology sounded as sincere as it actually was...which doesn't say much. But to my surprise, Caitlin accepted the apology. I don't really know why she did, since she had every right to turn me away. But whatever her reason, it didn't matter. After that day, we hung out alot. Most of the time, we did what I wanted to do and Caitlin just tagged along. Over the years, however, we really did become good friends. It was certainly strange how our friendship began, but after four years we were inseperable.

Name: Twila Maris

Nickname(s): None

Age: 14

Gender: Female

Height: 5'3"

Weight: 108lbs

Appearance: Twila has tan skin from living in the Orange Archipelago all her life. She has short, navy hair, the tips of which are dyed green. She has bright gray eyes. Twila's outfit consists of an aqua-colored tank top worn over a plain white T-shirt. The tank-top has a white-star pattern on it. She wears a white pleated skirt with an aqua trim and white tennis shoes with aqua stripes. In her hair she wears a white headband with a silver-blue star on it. She also wears white pearl earrings and a shell bracelet.

Personality: Twila is quite the know-it-all. Her mind works like clockwork - always reeling with information and new ideas. Her mouth works about as fast as her brain does - she's quite the motor-mouth and can definitely be described as an extrovert. Twila has a very upbeat personality, trying to look on the bright side and thinking outside the box. She's really sweet, though, and you wouldn't be able to guess that she was a fast-talking, tinkering machine at first glance.

Character History: Twila was born and raised on North Mandarin Island, in the hustle and bustle of a big city - "The Big Orange" it is sometimes referred to as. Twila had always been interested in computers and tinkering, ever since she was a little girl. Since she was just a toddler, she was always taking apart things and putting them back together. Her parents were very impressed with their daughter's talent. Every year on her birthday, Twila received the latest gadgets and gizmos instead of dolls and clothes like most girls her age wanted. Twila often busied herself with finding out how things worked. Some of her favorite gadgets were Pokedex's, Pokegear, pokeballs and, of course, Rangers' stylers. The technology used to create such complex, unique items was phenomenal and intrigued her.

But Twila's real dream in life was to be a Pokemon Mechanic. Because she had only lived in the Orange Archipelago, there was only one person she desperately wanted to work for, and that was Prof. Ivy. She was well known in these parts and Twila loved the kind of research she did on Valencia Island. But she would have to work hard before she could ever attain that goal.

When Twila turned thirteen, her parents gave her a laptop computer. Also, Twila decided it was time to set out on her own and do some research on her own, if she ever wanted to work for Prof. Ivy that is. Butwal island was a little paradise of the Orange Archipelago and it was inhabited by very few people. There were no seaports or airports at all on the island and food had to be delivered from Valencia island to the few inhabitants that lived there. Twila's older sister and brother-in-law moved to the island shortly after they were married to do research there. Twila's sister, Dahlia is a botanist and studies plants on the island and her husband, Jasper, studies the wild Pokemon there in their natural habitat. Twila moved to Butwal Island to live with her sister because it was the closest thing to being out on her own that her parent's would allow being that she was only thirteen.

On the island, Twila was mostly by herself anyway because Dahlia and Jasper were always very busy. She kept in touch with her parents and her friends back on North Mandarin Island via her Pokegear or email on her laptop. Twila would often explore the paradise that was Butwal island on her own. She made quite a few Pokemon friends throughout the year that she lived there. She even managed to catch a rare Pokemon of her own - a shiny Relicanth she found one day while she was scuba diving off the coast of the island. Relicanth lived deep on the ocean floor and she almost missed this one because it's coloring was aqua, like the water around it. She didn't pass up the opportunity to catch it, however, especially since she knew Prof. Ivy studied strangely colored Pokemon. But Relicanth wasn't too helpful in battle on land and because the island was inhabited with tons of Pokemon, Jasper thought it would be safer if Twila had a Pokemon of her own that could protect on land. He entrusted to her his Luxray to keep as her own Pokemon for protection should she need it, especially since he and Dahlia weren't always around to look after her.

Hybrid Connection: Twila met up with a lost hybrid named Sophie on Butwal Island. Together, they plan to solve the mystery of the incident at the museum and get wrapped up in a worl of life-changing events!

Team: None at the moment, possibly Rebellion in the future.
