White Earth is a world that exists in a parallel universe with Earth, however the differences, though few, are significant. The main reason would be for the fact that the planet is covered in pure, unmistakable white. Every single piece of vegetation is snow white, though there is no snow upon them. It is simply for the fact that the chlorophyll in the plants is slightly chemically different than the chlorophyll in the plants on Earth, turning the plants white instead of green.
Also, the plants have released a dense amount of carbon dioxide into the air, making it difficult for the inhabitants of White Earth to breath well. Eventually, the carbon dioxide accumulated into white clouds that drifted heavily in the air, creating a new, decently solid plane, where the air was clear of any pollution. In an attempt to escape from the polluted air, the inhabitants who did not build up an immunity to the gas, ventured up into the clouds to begin a new life. A thousand years have passed since then and all of the inhabitants residing above the clouds have developed wings to assist them in their newer environment. They were content with their lives, not living on the ground where the plants and animals were and lived in peace.
However, in the most recent years, the land below began to act up. The animals that lived in the forests grew rowdy and violent, more so than the usual violence. Also, the vegetation has begun to turn a strange violet like color and began to wilt. The leaders of the winged beings have grown worried because if the vegetation's carbon dioxide disappeared, then there would be nothing left to sustain the clouds and they would disappear through the atmosphere, leaving the inhabitants no where to land, rest, and live.
Some scientists of the time have tried to figure out why this was happening, but they cannot come up with any conclusions. The mystery is racking their brains, and even the elders cannot come up with an excuse to ease the resident's minds.

Name: Rinji-Rai Character Name: Reve Age: 23 Gender: Male Race: Mauforaum Planet: Ketarhr Class: Gunslinger Weapons: Two .45 Caliber pistols with exploding and regular rounds, also sports the insignia of the demon on the back of his left hand. He carries inside of him, The Demon of the Negaverse, Noxious, which he uses very sparingly, as it causing him great brain and heart damage, and eventually could cause bleeding of either one. He also carries a switch blade in his right boot.
He also has a very limited racial skill of psychic abilities. He rarely uses them, sticking to his guns as much as he could, finding new ammunition he could use in them and discovering new was to make gunpowder inside the shells.
Clothes and Appearance: Reve is 5'8'', and wears cowboy clothes, his hat is small and dark brown, he never parts with it, or his pistols on his gun belt. He has coal-black skin and sandy brown hair, the latter not being normal for his race. He also bares two pairs of small wings one above the other on his back, their spans go 4 ft. on bottom and 5 ft. on top.
Personality: He is very old fashioned, he talks in a rather strong western accent and acts upon the code of the old West, having been raised in similar climates and environments. He is very honorable around ladies, and loose jointed around other guys, saying what is on his mind, very rarely lying.
History: Reve was born in the Deinoforaum hospitals, but as they traveled through the desert toward their own house, they were ambushed by a group of Hole Men, however, the baby was put in a crevasse under a rock, out of the hole men’s sights. A tribe of nomads crossing the desert happened upon the baby crying in middle of the desert. They admired the brave, strong baby and took him in as their own. As he grew up, he was told of the stories of how they found him, much like a hero they heard many stories of. A mighty swordsman that a kind couple found in the wilderness, who grew up and saved their village with his great skill. He had no interest in swords, but was enthralled by his foster father’s hunting tactics using his very rare six-shooters that Reve’s foster uncle created, being a very skilled metal worker.
Since he could comprehend reason, he knew that none of the caravan that he lived with was his real parent, but he has had no real drive or want to find his real parents, having been raised by a very loving family. One thing that the people of his village have noticed about him was that his gunmen skills were far superior to his father’s, his aim and his draw was twice as sharp. So for his fourteenth birthday, he was given the weapons. Along with the use of his psychic powers, he has proven to be one of the hardest men to kill. When he was eighteen, his caravan was attacked by bandits. While they were able to hold off the bulk of them, they had artillery in the distance that fired and killed every person in his village. He was finally able to kill the men with his pistols, holding off the mortar cannon fire off with his shield and shooting them down. He buried his parents and burned the rest of his village, piling the bandits to leave for buzzard food.
No one knows what happened to him in the recent years following, but there are many theories. The only thing people knew was that he came out of the desert with a blazing fire in his eyes, and he sported a Demon Seal on the back of his left hand. One that could call one of the cruelest of Demons to the realm. This gave him the Nick Name, Demon-Eye Reve. And this made him all the more infamous in the places that heard his story. However, along his path, he came upon the quadruped, Krol, and both of them agreed that the world that they lived in was turning into desert far too fast, and there must be a cure. So both of them set out to see if they could fix it. What they found was a portal, one that led them to the next dimension. Soon they found themselves searching all of the realms in search of the Catalyst Core, because it was dying, and they knew that someone or something was leeching from it.
That was when they met Rencaine, the Demon Reaver, who followed them on their journey and told them of the Dark one, Kreil Sin who was gaining power from the Catalyst Core, and that was corrupting the dimensions, and causing them to begin corruption in entirety. Reve came to the conclusion that if no one else was searching for the answers, then they would. Now they have come to White Earth.

Name: Rinji-Rai Character Name: Rencaine Dar'oden V Age: 98 Gender: Male Race: Anchor Planet: Baalos 5 Class: Demon Reaver Weapons: A Demon Cloak that was created to simulate Demon powers. This cloak he carries is one of a kind, and is able to call upon the elements of fire and darkness at will. He is given the power of flight for many kilometers and is granted great speed.
Clothes and Appearance: Rencaine is a tall, lanky man with brushed back brown short hair, and wears a black suit. The cloak he wears does not burst into flames until he wraps it around himself completely. Until then he may keep on the hood or simply keep on the cloak, making it appear to be a completely normal article of black clothing.
Personality: Highly sophisticatedly, almost stuck up in a way. He can be somewhat mean if someone keeps interrupting him when he is trying to explain something or tell a story of something he knew or had learned. He is very intelligent, especially in his knowledge of demons, knowing their names, their personalities, their demonic races and many of their powers. He carries demon lore wherever he goes, and collects all of the artifacts he can get his hands on.
History: Rencaine was born to Rencaine Dar'oden the IV, and Lemera. Was trained since he could remember in the arts of demons and wraiths or other horrors, so that he may be ready to fight them at any moment at any time. He was given his father's cloak at the age of 15 and was charged with the protection of the dimension, along-side his father. Together they protected the Anchorage from all of their enemies, never encountering a demon until far into their careers, it happened when Rencaine's father was charged with the cloak. The battle was tremendous, it completely destroyed the building they were in, and cast a horrible tumble of debris onto Rencaine the IV. His son came to the scene, where his father lie, the cloak ripped to shreds but still functioning. His father gave the cloak to him, and wished him luck against the demon as he slowly died from his femoral artery being severed. Rencaine took up the cloak, repairing it to full power in a flash as he put it on, and with all of the might of his power, he destroyed the beast that killed his father. Many years past, and he met many people, but none so strange as the two that came to Baalos 5 through a demon portal. Reve and Krol stepped through. After learning of the Catalyst Core's condition, he instantly agreed to join the two on their mission, and lend his skills of fighting and superior knowledge of demons and other mysteries of the dimensions.

Name: Iethloc Character Name: Krol Tergro Age: 38 (human equivalent 17) Gender: Male Race: Ratoul'An Planet: Ketarhr Class: PsyLord/Ratoul'An Crusader Weapons: Krol wields a magic sword sheathed in a blue glow. It is capable of cutting through even the highest quality steel, and it can also freeze any organic tissue that comes into contact with it (though it needs time to recharge this ability). He also still keeps his old brass knuckles, actually made of strong steel. They're too large and bulky for most races to use, but they are perfect for Krol.
Clothes and Appearance: Krol, like most Ratoul'An, wears little clothing save for shorts to cover the necessary parts. However, he still has a large, golden bracelet on both of his upper arms, showing off his family's status. His fur is nearly black, save for some white patches around his wrists, ankles and back.
(Racial description: The Ratoul'An are quadrupeds, somewhat resembling an ox. However, they have larger, stronger legs, and have much longer fur. They also lack horns, and have a more subtle nose, indicated only by two slits in the middle of their face. They have bright green eyes with cat-like pupils. Their front arms are particularly muscled, and end in 5 fingers, with a thumb on either side. Their strong, thick hind legs end in strong digitigrade feet instead of hooves.)
Personality: Like many Ratoul'An, Krol is not a scholar by any means, though he still communicates well enough. While he still enjoys a good conversation, he is quick to act, even if diplomacy would normally do the work. He can have a rather short temper, unlike most Ratoul'An, who are somewhat more contemplative.
Abilities: Krol, like all Ratoul'An, has immense physical strength, and is surprisingly agile. In addition, he has innate psychic abilities common to his race, such as the ability to call up a vision at will (though he's vulnerable during the vision, and it can easily tire him out). His vision, and, more recently, his hearing extend slightly into the past and future, giving him a precognitive edge. He has also developed a clairvoyant sense that alerts him if he's about to come to physical (but not mental or psychic) harm. Krol's family also has psychic control over fire, though Krol's pyrokinesis was slow to develop. He can start and extinguish fire, as well as sheathe himself and his weapons in flames that harm only other people. Recently, he discovered the ability to breathe fire and control flaming objects.
History: Krol was born into one of the two founding families of the Ratoul'An homeland of Tergro-Bast. However, the Tergro family was never the richest family even in the beginning, though they remain wealthy and respected to this day. He had several brothers and sisters, as large litters were common to the Ratoul'An. However, he was the least talented of his family, and didn't even discover his pyrokinesis until he was 20 (human 9 1/2), at which point his siblings could even repair burnt objects with their minds.
Regardless of his lack of talent, his family kept him and tried to lavish him with gifts to comfort him as he saw his siblings excel at everything they did. But he rarely accepted these gifts, seeing little use in material possessions. He slipped into depression for years, which certainly did not help him to overcome his underachieving. He had great trouble finding his school (Ratoul'An do not tell children where their school is, or even when it meets. They must use their clairvoyance to find them, and that is their first test), and found it only several months after his brethren did.
He eventually managed to graduate from the harsh Ratoul'An education system, and the first thing he did was retire to a bar, since there was no minimum drinking age in Tergro-Bast (even Ratoul'An children could hold their alcohol). But instead of getting a drink, he met a strange Mauforaum: Reve. Before long, they started adventuring together, trying to find out why the rainforests of Ketarhr were being overcome by cursed deserts.
They began traveling through dimensions, with the first portal they came upon being a bizarre occurrence. But the next portal they found was generated by the Demon Seal upon Reve's hand, to which Krol reacted harshly. On the second dimension to which they hopped, they met the Anchor neo-human known as Rencaine, as well as his master, Xernsus. Xernsus could not leave Baalos 5, since his life was linked to a fire on that planet. Rencaine traveled with them while Xernsus stayed behind.
In the next dimension they visited, Krol picked up a small, strange friend, a Fuzzball named Rozar, who took up residence in Krol's fur in order to eat the various ticks and fleas that live in his long fur. Krol was not enthusiastic with the realization of his infestation, but he accepted Rozar.
The next dimension he saw was the one known as White Earth.

Hosanna zipped through the platinum trees, an ebony mask guarding her nose and mouth from the outside gas that forest below her fed upon. She steadily gripped her staff in one hand and a plastic, air tight container in the other, her dress bellowing behind her as she flew with intensity and purpose, fleeing from the creature that currently pursued her. She glanced back momentarily in order to determine its proximity. When she could clearly make out the detail of its feathers, she knew she had to speed up more if she wanted to survive. Focusing her attention back to her front, she dodged a tree she was rapidly approaching with a gasp. I must stay focused, otherwise I will not make it out undetected, she thought to herself as a deep frown settled upon her features. She strategically dodged the many other approaching trees before coming to a familiar clearing that held her salvation.
She broke out of the platinum forest penitentiary and curved upward at a ninety degree angle and shot up to the sky where heavenly white clouds of dense carbon dioxide greeted her. She glanced behind her once more to peek at the areal creature pursuing her to find less definition in its detail, which relieved her slightly, however not incredibly. Focusing her attention back onto the speedily approaching clouds, she drew her hands together pointing her staff and the canister above her and folding her wings in for a dive as she met the clouds, shutting her eyes so as to not damage them from the thick gas. As she disappeared from her predator, it swerved from course to search for another source of meat for it's evening meal.
After a tortuous and tedious amount of time went by, Hosanna finally broke the surface of the clouds and her eyes were greeted by the beautiful starry sky above. Landing softly on the gas surface, she removed her mask from around her head and rested it on her shoulder. She gazed up into the beauty of the heavens and sighed with relief to be alive after her illegal "dive" to the forest below. She let loose a rare smile that she only shared with the stars and moon after such events before rising, once again, into the sky and gliding to her home, ready for a good night's rest after such a chase.

"GAH!" Reve shouted, falling out of the sky above the clouded White Earth, landing very near Hosanna. He expected to hit something rock-solid, but instead he landed on nice, soft, clouds. His ten gallon hat fell off of his head and he lied there for a moment, then looked up at Hosanna, somewhat blinded by the light. For two seconds, she was divine in his eyes, her image was shrouded in bright white lights and the blue sky behind her only magnified her beauty to him, especially having been in such horrible worlds before. First, a treacherous, barren desert, then a rock-solid asteroid filled with cement and killing machines. Then if that weren't enough, they passed into a world of nothing but a dungeon lair, fighting a black entity of great, demonic power. At that moment, Hosanna was almost more beautiful than his brain could manage to see. He put his hand on his head, then looked to his side, picking up his hat with his ebon-black hands and placed it back on his sandy brown hair. "H-hi.... I'm---"
Reve was interrupted by Rencaine, who fell directly on Reve's back, pushing him down onto the clouds again. "GAH!" Rencaine shouted as he saw himself coming toward Reve and plowing him back down to the ground. He got up slowly, helping Reve to his feet. Then he looked at the girl in front of him, his gray eyes looking somewhat confused. Then he looked around himself, at the clouds, the white trees, and the crystal clear sky. "My... this is rather charming, isn't it?"
Reve tipped his hat to the lady, still marveling in her gorgeous radiance.

"AHIIIIIRRRRR!" Krol bellowed, gazing, incredibly wide-eyed at the rapidly approaching surface. With his hands and feet ready to hit the clouds first, he closed his eyes and braced for impact. With an almighty THUD, Krol landed heavily, throwing some of the dense gas into the air, landing behind Hosanna. When he finally opened his eyes, he encompassed the strange scene before him. Reve had survived, and he seemed to be enamored by a humanoid. Rencaine had also landed before him. Krol groaned for a bit, then stood up to his full quadrupedal height, surprised at the soft surface beneath his feet.
Krol craned his neck skyward, taking in the vast blue expanse that he had not seen for a long time, then at the clouds right beneath his feet. "This is...interesting..." he commented, poking at the soft pseudo-ground. Then, finally, he turned towards the gathering in front of him, noting the existence if the angelic figure. "At least this place looks much better than the other places we've visited. What is this realm called?" Krol inquired.

Hosanna's tired body went on alert as she held up her staff defensively towards the intruders. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously as her staff gradually gathered light at the tip, charging with energy. She gripped the canister tightly under her arm in protection while she hovered in the sky. "Who are you!" She demanded. "How did you get here?"
