The Dream RP is another Fantasy RP.
And since the storyline is developed by the roleplayers, I wanted to give everyone the chance to say their ideas!

Well, for those who haven't looked. This was the storyline for the Fantasy RP. Which I'm posting as a suggestion for this one as well.

Alright! world idea!
Conflict: Cliche struggle for power.
____At one time, there was one god who ruled all and kept peace and order in all three worlds. However, in this story, gods are not immortal, although they do live for an extremely long time due to thier godly condition. When he died, chaos erupted. Everyone is fighting for power. Each world fighting to control the other two, and even kings within each world fighting to control that world.
____The Overworld, sometimes thought of as the "good" world. Is no less evil than the Underworld. Their plans are no more good than those of the beings of the Underworld, they seek control of all as well. The Middleworld is fighting to preserve itself. Being where it is, is has become the battle ground and also it provides the souls many beings seek for power.
____My character follows Shikariel, one of three brother wraith-kings who are attempting to gain control of the underworld. Shikariel, the crimson winged, and his two brothers Angoriel, the violet winged, and Temporiel, the golden winged, are collecting souls which they transform into beings for their armies. When they take control of the underworld, they plan to combine to become a godly being, Lunloriel, the Radiant Prism Winged Spectral Lord. After which, they will move on to the other worlds.
(if you like this idea, you just need to choose who you follow, or if you are on your own.)

Here's an idea...

Let me copy the prologue to my book, as it pertains to the idea. I wrote it three years ago and I'm not going to proofread it.

Flames licked the darkened horizon as the holocaust continued. The young boy gaped at the ominous scene from the sanctuary of his home, which in actuality provided no sanctuary at all. Distress signals called continuously and interminably, though they had served their purpose. But the signals were in vain. The malevolent army blocked off the whole pass, and there was no other escape for the nation, and though the whole country was alerted, there was no hope. The onslaught continued.
Inside the boy’s house, servants ran to and fro, and the patriarch (the boy’s father) and the boy’s older brother were hastily gathering weapons with which to organize and execute a last attempt to defend their land. The mother sobbed, for she knew there was no possible way for their last stand to accomplish its task, and she also knew that she herself, her children, her nation, and her husband were going to die. The child stood amidst the chaos in terror, for he knew his mother was frightened. He also knew that something important and evil was occurring, but he did not quite comprehend. In the midst of the pandemonium, the boy’s father approached him at a fast pace, determination apparent in his demeanor and stride.
“Jaisym da!” He shouted. “Du lochym jaisym!”
Following on pure trust, the boy went somewhat unsurely. His father led him to a chamber packed with scrolls. Handing the boy five, each with its own symbols, the father stated sternly, “Du lochym laim lo jyriim su rabiira, jyriim su faillardemiir!” The father then led the boy through several dark hallways to an empty chamber lighted by torches that had walls of mismatched stone. The father pushed one stone, opening a small hallway with enough room for one to walk abreast. “Jaisym lo aimyller a lo llarmiir. Chryllerma saidriillar.” The boy went as if in a dream. None of it seemed real to him. He made his way through the corridor. After a long while, the damp walls seemed to close in. He started running, and thus left behind all light. He began to bump into walls and trip over roots. His footsteps reverberated in the tight alley.

The rising sun gave light to the smoldering valley, trampled beneath the feet of a congregate army. None stirred, their bodies already attracting vultures. With tearstained cheeks the boy turned away from his homeland and started a long journey in search of fellow survivors with little hope.

Let me translate...

As far as I can tell... (three years...), it says... "Follow me!" He shouted. "You must come!"

"You must run away from here, away from destruction!"

"Follow the tunnel to the end. Do not return."

So... basically, there are two races of elves: the Western and the Eastern elves. They do not maintain a close relationship, so the vernacular and slang in the language is different. Also, when the eastern elves are destroyed (in the prologue), everybody thinks all the Eastern Elves died. However, the younger prince, the boy in the prologue, survived. His father was king of the Eastern Elves. When he escaped, he was so traumatized that he forgot his heritage.

The Eastern Elvish land is surrounded by mountains except for on the north. The tunnel lets the prince, whose name is Enudac, escape to the west through the mountains, which are normally impenetrable. Some other elves escaped to the south into a forest where the only source of water was a contaminated river. These turn into Drows until later the boy comes back and saves them... but this will not be included in the RP.

The scrolls he was given have basic martial arts lessons and dictionaries and texts for learning different languages.

One elf year is 100 human years. Thus, though the boy is 5.32 elf years old, he is 532 years old. He is about equivalent in maturity to a 5 year old.

He spends about 1000-1500 years alone in the forest.

For the first 100 years or so after his escape, he searches for any survivors. When he doesn't find any, he searches for another 100 years for a place to live. He finally finds a forest that is uninhabited.

He doesn't remember that he is a prince. He does, however, remember that some creatures destroyed his homeland. He swears to get revenge. When the creatures try to expand their conquest to the west, he initially does nothing to them when they enter his forest. However, he slowly improves his skill using the scrolls his father gave him to learn basics and individual creatures to practice. Eventually, he becomes so good that he can destroy troops of the creatures at a time. Thus, the forest comes to have a reputation of being haunted. This reputation spreads to other regions.

The RP will basically include his story from the time he escapes to the time he joins a group of people whose mission is to destroy the nearly invincible leader of the evil creatures. It is thus slightly LOTR-esque. When he joins the group, he is basically the strongest creature alive.
