Greetings, TRC fans~ 83. I've recently noticed in passing that our member count has become the same as our Guild ID in the URL.
This number being,
1683.
Therefore, I call for a celebration, marked by a change in decoration.
Let's change the front banner!
Oh yes. The time has come. Spring cleaning has come early, in place of Christmas, and I want to make things shiny. And I want you guys to design and pick a new banner! -- If enough of you are interested.
So are you? (Come on, don't crush my enthusiasm! :<) So here's the deal.I'm looking for a new banner to grace our front page in place of the large one currently in the center. This can be made out of any official image of the manga or anime (manga is very much preferred). No fanart, please.
+ "Spoiler" images will be acceptable, for events through volume 16, as this contest will end (conveniently) after the english release of this volume. Therefore, things such as "Duplicates" and "Eyepatches" will be acceptable.
The dimensions should be no smaller than 400x250, and no larger than 500x400.
Images, if containing characters (which I assume they would be), should contain two or more characters (Mokona counts), keeping in mind that this is a general series guild, not pairing or character specific. The more characters the better!
Lastly, the banner must say "Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Guild", or any abbriviation of the series name on it, with the word "Guild", or it would defeat the purpose of the banner contest, wouldn't it? :3 Additional text is welcome.
+ Note: Must use the full title's abbreviation. We're not the Tsubasa Chronicle Guild. T-R-C. *kicks Bee Train*
Each user may submit no more than two banners. Mules do not count as a seperate user.
Here's a quickie, overdone example of something you could do.  Pretend it's not ugly, omg. XD;;; PM any entries to me with the phrase "Guild Contest" somewhere in the title.
Let's make the end of the contest... January 9th. :3 Plenty of time to submit something to make happy mod, yes?
But wait. How is this a contest again? And here comes the incentiveTop three banners will win prizes, and may be rotated as the main banner later on, depending.
First: Gift of the Gods
Second: Let It Snow
Third: ??
....; OKAY, FRUGAL MOD IS FRUGAL. And has therefore yet to pick prizes for the other two winners.
If anyone would like to offer up suggestions, or donations for the other two prizes, that'd be great. heart

Uh, I guess I'll just put the deadline for... Maybe the 9th of January? Two weeks?
I haven't gotten any submissions yet, so I'm kind of hoping someone else will step up and do one so we can have a proper contest with voting. =X;;;
Ah! And frugal mod can afford the Let it Snow item. 83 So we'll have it be that.

=O Cool, xD yayyy. Hmm, you guys can totally feel free to use the sample I posted, I don't mind ^^. Consider it a donation to the guild!
Hehe, and yeah, I'm working on one right now. Perhaps I'll just make that sample my first entry (even though it's not according to the size required for the contest) and then the one I'm making right now will be my second entry ^^. We're allowed two, right?

=O I'm so sorry, please forgive my lapse of judgement on the making pictures public earlier part ^^;;; I'll just leave it as is; the image I made public was only in my signature for around two or three days sweatdrop . As for legitimacy, I assure you all the images I sent were made by CLAMP, and personalized for the guild by me, none else ^.^
