Ghilsheare was happily meandering down the street and felt a sudden growl in his stomach. Being an energy based Ancient, Ghil got hungry ofent, but he was spoiled by Seiaeka's homecooking and usually didn't eat out.

Sniffing the air an catching the tanatlising aroma from the baking break, he followed to a small cafe by the river in town. Looking at the sign, he smiled, seeing that it'd just opened. He pulled on the door and let it swing open, stepping inside out of the soggy cold of Orthran City.

Ghilsheare jumped a little, surprised by the sudden sound. "O-oh, just hungry, your bread smells fantastic," he said, recovering quickly from the start. The Anceint was a little wary around people since his brother had been kidnapped; now he was aware there were people like that in the world who would kidnap him too, but it was unlikly for him since he looked relatively normal.

Ghil looked the guy over, unsure of what he was exactly, but he knew the host wasn't a human.

Ghilsheare turned around, his glowing zipper pull dangling and making a tiny bell sound as he swivled, "Wh-what?" he asked to the person that entered behind him. Of course he wasn't an umbrella, that was one of the most absurd things he'd ever heard, though Seiaeka was known to say some weird things occassionally, this was way out in left field.

Ghilsheare started at the unique man, "How curious..." he muttered to himself as he foudn himself stareing ans walked over to the counter as well. "I'll have a starlight coffee with one level teaspoon of sugar please," he said to the cute man behind the counter. This was going to be an interesting place to come to if people like this showed up often. The teen made a mental note to tell Seiaeka of this person as soon as he got home. She often liked to investigate strange phenomena like the man Ghil now stood beside.

After a minute of digging and some difficult-to-classify noises, Vorbis's hand emerged from his backpack with an assortment of broken junk grasped in its palm. He cast it across the counter in disarray, shaking his hand to dislodge a few fragments of glass from his glove, then dropped the backpack and began picking for coins. Seventeen were produced, varying in size and color, and Vorbis piled them together, then slid them across the counter to the man holding the bottle, seeming not to know or care if he had the right amount. He hurried to sweep the rest of his belongings back into the bag, inspecting the counter afterward to ensure he did not leave even the tiniest piece of glass. Once he was satisfied, he began turning to leave, but only got as far as one step when he seemed to remember something. He turned back to the kind man behind the counter.

"Oh, so sorry." he said simply. His eyes fell on the pile of coins, then on the soda, and he gazed at them absently before he decided to step back towards the counter. "That soda looks very nice," he stated, as a judge in a beauty pageant might flatter a contestant while attempting to remain neutral. "Do you mind if I hold it?"
