Mandy stumbled into Jacob's house, completely exhausted. She could hear Billy's faint snoring, Well, guess I'm not talking with him tonight... She walked over to the couch and dropped all five foot ten of herself on it. She sighed and flicked the television on, Billy wouldn't mind her staying for the night, in fact, she was sure Billy was the only one that actually liked her, and Matt...because they had already got past the part of Mandy being mean to him, in fact they were close friends when Mandy wasn't going around pissing people off. She looked at her watch, one in the morning. Mandy yawned and leaned back into the couch, she knew Jacob would wake her up when he got home to tell her off about the stuff she said and almost lossing control...But until then, she planned on catching some much needed sleep.

Mandy was sitting in the backseat of her parents car, her parents laughing and holding each others hands in the front seat. "Mandy, dear, why don't you hang out with those La Push children, I met Billy Black today, his son Jacob is about your age, a really nice boy!" He father looked in the mirror, gazing into Mandy's face. Mandy blushed and looked away, and her mother hit her father. "Watch the road Greg, it's icy." Her father laughed and cheerfully shrugged his wife's worry off as a simple worry. The next thing Mandy realized was a big truck heading right at their car, and it slipping out of control. The truck hit their car and they flipped over; a couple minutes later Mandy was pulled from the wreck by a giant wolf.
Mandy was shaken awake by Billy Black, for a second she forgot where she was but then remembered, leaving the party early and crashing at Jacob's house. "Mandy, you were tossing and turning. Nightmares again?" Billy asked, concern on his face, he handed her a cup of coffee. "Yes." She wispered. Billy looked at her questioningly, "About that night? The night Sam and Jake saved you from the accident?" "Yes," Mandy replied, suddenly she heard loud laughter from outside and sat up straight, Jacob and Matt where here. She looked at Billy, and he smiled, "I won't bring it up with them..." And he turned to go back to his room.

Jacob walked in, closely followed by Matt and stopped, his face hardening slightly at the sight of Mandy. "So....what do you have to say for yourself? That was really rude what you not only thought, but also what you said." He leaned against the wall and motioned for Matt to go talk to Billy. Matt hesitated, but went anyway, smiling slightly at Mandy before walking into the other room.

Mandy laughed, "It's a good thing Belle or whatever can't read minds isn't it. Besides, I agree with Leah on this one, you think about that stupid human way to much. She's not that pretty and she's not that special, beside she has the vampire to keep her company, I wonder how that makes you feel..." She got up from the couch and was by Jacobs side in two strides across the room. She leaned in and whispered in his ear, "Poor you Jake, all alone...And the only one you love took your heart and ground it into the dirt for a vampire..."

Jacob reached out with lightning speed and grabbed Mandy by the neck, lifting her off the ground. "I'm starting to regret having saved you, Mandy. Her name is Bella, and you don't know what you're talking about." He let go of her and stalked towards the door, holding it open for her. "I suggest you leave....now." he said, a note of finality in his voice.

Instead of walking out the door, like Jacob had intended her too, Mandy crumpled to the floor feeling her neck, as if to make sure it was still attached to her body. She was shaking uncontrollably and glared up at Jacob, "If I remember correctly, I didn't ask for you to save me, I would have very well wanted to die with the frickin' people that cared about me, you idiot and I didn't ask to join your's and Sam's stupid group! I stayed here, because Billy wanted me too and you know very well I'd leave if it wasn't for him!" She was yelling now and she could hear Billy and Matt coming towards the living room, at what seemed like a hurried pace.

"Where would you go? Huh? Explain that to me? You wouldn't have anywhere else to go, would you?" he yelled back, watching as she continued to shake.
Matt ran into the room and took one look at Mandy before running to her side. "What the hell is going on in here?" he asked, looking over at Jacob, and Billy who had just rolled into the room. He wrapped his arms around her waist and held her steady, telling her to take deep breaths and calm down.

Mandy looked up at Jacob stupidly, "As much as it may surprise you, I know people. I may be a loser at school, but that doesn't mean I'm a loser everywhere else. Besides, you've hated me since you met me! Just because I didn't grow up with you and god!" She clenched her head, thoughts and images from the accident that killed her parents. Suddenly, she was clam and smiled at Jacob, "Sorry. No more fighting?" She looked around, Billy looked dumbstruck, seconds before she had been yelling until her throat hurt, now...She was in a completely different state.

Jacob stood by the door perplexed. "Umm......sure. No more fighting." He walked over to her and grabbed her arm, helping Matt stand her up. "Sorry about everything I said. You know I didn't mean it."
Matt let go of Mandy and took a few steps back, giving her room to breathe. "You gonna be okay Mandy?"

Mandy smiled, "I'll be fine! So, Matty, are you going to the picnic with your new crush? What's herrr name, Cory." Mandy turned to Matt, teasing him.

"What??? I...uh-I don't...she's just...I mean.....ugh......I dunno." he sighed, sounding kinda defeated. "I'm not totally sure I like her that way, she's just a friend." He looked at Mandy for a minute, then poked her and took off out the front door. "You're it!!!!" her yelled as he took off into the woods.
Jacob laughed and took off after Matt, not wanting to be tagged.

Mandy let out a barking laughter and too off after Jake and Matt. Though, of course she was going to the picnic later today, but she may as while have fun while she could. She quickly decided to be on a mellow behavior today and dashed up behind Jake, tackling him to the forest floor. "Ha."

Matt came up beside them laughing. "Ha! You got caught.! Slowpoke!" He laughed some more before taking off again, pulling Mandy off Jacob and pulling her with him.
Jacob smirked and took off after the two of them, stopping to smell the air every once in a while to get a whiff of their scent. "I'm gonna get you guys! I promise!" he yelled out.

Mandy laughed slightly, Matt put his hand over her mouth and rolled his eyes. Mandy stuck her tongue out and took a running jump into a tree and sat on the branch, waiting for Jacob to pass underneath. You can't catch us, silly Jake~!
