I noticed a few typos and fixed them up.

Gaia screename: Zyriex

Character name: Neirah
Age: 14
Element + Level: Fire 0

Bio: When she was five, Neirah sneaked away with other children her age and participated in a dare where she would be locked in a wooden shack that would be set on fire. Her peers could not control the fire and she nearly died. Due to that traumatic incident, Neirah developed claustrophobia and a fear if fire, which later on turned into hate. Only recently has she acknowledged the fact that she will have to gain control over her element to prevent killing herself. She ran away from her home at the age of 13 when her noble, but poor family finally managed to scrap together enough money to send her to the Fire Nation Royal Academy for Girls, detesting that place as a “hive of conformity” and has been traveling for about 9 months. She’s a strong believer in individualism and in free will. Highly reckless, Neirah does things without thinking of the consequences, whether it is saying what she thinks during inappropriate times (like during the middle of a court session) or performing dangerous acts that most sane people would never consider, such as jumping from a four story building with only a tablecloth. Her tendency to show off is not helped by the last habit. She is a person that is concerned with what is currently happening and usually avoids planning ahead. Neirah is the type of person to hold grudges until she feels like the offending party has been punished enough. Due to the fact she slightly sadistic and spiteful; the offending party usually receives a punishment far worse than what most people consider the offense to have merited. Once, when someone tripped her she retaliated by “accidentally” causing the person to land in a “conveniently” placed pile of manure. However, she didn’t stop there. After tracking down the offender’s house, she proceeded to break in while he was sleeping and caused him to him nightmares by whispering into his ear about his entire family getting killed off in gruesome ways. Despite this, most of the time she just tries to have fun and tolerates people unless they offend her or slow her down. She is superstitious and leaves offerings at shrines/temples whenever she can, unless the place is deemed a “fake money making scam” by her. She judges people by merit and rank means nothing to her except for the fact that she will then believe that the person is most likely less deserving of her respect. Nature is one of the few things she does admire and loves camping out. A recent incident where she caused a small forest fire has finally made her resolve to learn firebending and get “revenge” by gaining complete mastery and control over her element. Her weapons are a pair of butterfly swords strapped to her stomach and various throwing daggers (yes, they're different from shuriken) hidden in sleeves and pant legs. She earns money by doing odd jobs and performing with said weapons.

Travel History: She traveled across the fire nation for a few months before sneaking onboard an army ship heading towards the Earth Kingdom. She managed to jump overboard before the shimp landed and used a piece of wood she found to get ashore. For the past five or so months she has wandered around the Earth Kingdom and is currently in the woods near the Cave of Two Lovers.

Opinon on War: She's a bit more sypathetique to the Earth Kingdom because she sees the Fire Nation trying to force their culture and practices on others, which conflicts with her beliefs in individualism.

Apperance: She's currently wearing a pair to loose, but not baggy long sleeved shirt and pants, so as to conceal her weapons with. They're in various shades of brown and green. She has the black hair and yellow eyes typical of a firebender, though her eyes are more of a dark amber that can pass for brown, protecting her origion. She is about 4ft 6" and has a relatively strong body due to the exercises she regulary performs with her weapons.

I'll upload a map as soon as I can, but due to by non-existent skills with photoshop, I'm probably going to have to request one.

1. Left the Royal Fire Academy for Girls and headed to Ember Island, disguising herself and keeping hidden to avoid detection.
2. Goes around the other smaller islands, most notabably Crescent Island.
3. After 3-4 months, stows away on a navy ship and lands up on the coast.
4. Travels around aimlessly until reaching the forests near the Cave of Two Lovers.

Um, could you tell me exactly where this falls in the Avatar stroyline? I haven't seen this anywhere yet and only know that Ba Sing Sai hasn't fallen yet. This could be off some impact if certain places were destroyed/harm (coughCrescentIslandAvatarTempleandentrancetoCaveofTwoLoverscough) when Neirah got to them.

EDIT: Is it okay if I manage to fit in my grunny as a violent pet or something? I really do love the things ever so much. They're so cute! I love the way they can sit on your sholder, play dead, piss on your foot and fly at your head in a murderous rage!
Given the types of animals in the Avatar world, I don't think a crazy, green bunny would be too out of place, right? If allowed, I on making just a more violent and eccentric than usual pet, not a poor hapless bunny infected with some funky disease. I could also try to gice it features of another animal to make it fit in more (a turtle bunny? turnny?). I'm sorry if this sounds like too much or offends you.

Stats:

Tough to say, but i'm going to place this guild around the time of the desert. Meaning that the drill has not happened, and will become a large event later in the guild. Meaning that cresent island has already overflew with lava and an entrence to the cave of two lovers has been blocked off, but i'm sure the moles could have cleaned up by now.

Bunny idea is fine as long as it remains a hybrid animal.

Training Log:

Nothing yet. Despite her desire to master firebending, she's currently too scared to try to do anything by herself. She's probably going to have to find a teacher before daring to try.

I think I'll make it a turtle-rabbit, so a turbit!

Turbit Report!

A turbit is a rabbit like creature with green fur. Instead of having a pom-pom tail they have a flat, triangular shaped tail that resembles a turtle's, but covered in fur. Their feet are flater, with less fur than the rest of their bodies, with webbing and claws. The back is covered with a hard shell that slows it down but gives it protection from thoses who try to attack it from the back. However, this shell is weaker than an actual turtle's and doesn't protect the belly. They can't hop as high as normal bunnies, but are still pretty quick. The turtle part doesn't really effect speed except for the heavy shell (I never understood where people got the idea that all turtles are slow, lazy beings. I had turtles that could move around so quickly that I had trouble keeping up with them! Seriously.) They're decent swimmers, but don't have gills so while they can hold their breath for a few minutes, can drown. A turbit is a wild animal native to the Earth Kingdom. Neirah found one within the first two months of being in the Earth Kingdom and befriended it.

Event Log Day 1:

Neirah stared forlornly at the entrance to the Cave of Two Lovers. She had heard about the cave from a group of traveling hippie-nomads, or whatever they called themselves. She had really wanted go there to check out the caves themselves and meet the badger-moles; however the entrance was blocked and the badger-moles inside apparently had better things to do than fix up a human entrance to their home. Upon discovering this fact last night, coupled with a bad temper from an incidence in the last town she had visited, Neirah lost her temper. She managed to start a small forest blaze, but thankfully she was only "skilled" enough to create a spark and there wasn't too much dead plant stuff on the forest floor to fuel it. The fire still managed to cause considerable damage though.

She walked back to the woods with her turbit, which happily leaped into the river and began swimming, only to stop and look a bit forlorn at seeing Neirah's stoic face, her normal overconfident smirk missing. Despite various ear twitches signaling that it wanted her to play with it, Neirah stayed on the bank, shifting into the basic Siu Nim Tao stance, positioning her body perfectly over her "centerline." The Siu Nim Tao form consisted of relaxation exercises, basic footwork, and the way to generate enough force behind attacks to effectively participate in the aggressive, close-range fighting style that Wing Chun specialized in.

After a few minutes of this, she than started to perform the Chum Kiu, the secondary empty hand form. In this form one practiced ways of covering the distance between one and the opponent, attacks involving the knees and elbows, plus ways of unbalancing one’s opponent. It also taught ways to regain one’s centerline, balance, and position should it ever be lost.

Deciding not to practice the third empty hand form, Bil Jee, this form that was considered a powerful, but deadly form by her school. It was only to be used in dire circumstances where centerline was severely compromised and/or one was seriously injured. Instead, she began to practice her knife throwing. While tossing blades of various sizes into tree trunks, she would pause and smile every time she heard a satisfying “thunk” of steel imbedding itself into wood. After throwing her knives, she took them out and along with her butterfly swords began to sharpen them with a stone from the river. At least the Fire Nation makes decent steel, was the only thought in her head as she did this. Fire Nation steel was of very high quality and rarely needed to be sharpened, so Neirah finished quickly.

She noticed her turbit wasn’t swimming as enthusiastically as it usually did. After quickly jerking her head back and forth she hid most of her knives in the tree branches, tied some to her arms, strapped her butterfly swords back to her stomach, stripped down to her undergarments, and leaped into the water to play with her turbit. They had a small water splashing contest (her turbit’s legs could make surprisingly strong ones) and dived under to explore the ground of the river.

Night fell and Neirah set up a tent and a bed of river grass inside for her turbit. She collected some herbs, berries, and wild vegetables for them to eat after throwing away anything that even remotely resembled poison. For herself, she caught some fish, dug a pit with her knives, lined it with stones, and carefully making a fire using flint. Nowadays, she didn’t so much as fear fire itself as much as the destruction caused by firebending and her own firebending abilities. Though, for months after her accident she feared even the small flames on top of a candle. This changed into hate, which evolved into grudging acceptance of the element.

I need to find a firebending teacher fast, was the final thought in her mind before the blissful unawareness of sleep claimed her.
