Hey, guys. bardock75 here. Do any of you have any questions about Dragonball, DBZ, or DBGT? If so, just post them here and I'll attempt to answer them to the best of my (quite extensive) DB/Z/GT knowledge. So, just toss them out there and I'll try to answer them, and if I can't, I'll direct you to a source who can. I'm especially well-versed in all the movies, but don't ask for a full plot-level summary of any of the movies. I mean c'mon, even I'm not that good.

ninja I have to do this. ninja I love philosophical questions, and I'm a brat, so this must be done.
This popped into my mind the other day: Okay, well, we all know how Shenron/Shenlong/Eternal Dragon can restore the life of someone who died. Remember that he restored the life of those who were killed by Cell? Well, since he is incapable of granting the same wish twice ((ex. once Krillian or Master Roshi die, they're gone for good since they've died before)) what happened to those specific people when the dragonballs were used to restore the life to those killed by Vegeta when he went on rampage during the world tournament?
((I could have finished with the restoration after Majin Buu, but that answer is easier. If needed, I'll explain))

Actually, after Dende took over the position of Kami of Earth, Shenron was upgraded to be able to bring people back multiple times, if I'm remembering correctly. So, there is no problem about granting the wish of life to someone who's died and been wished back at least once before.

That is incorrect.
((quote from the manga, right before the Cell Games... cause I don't have the anime version of this.))
Krillian: "G-Goku... There's bad news... we can have lots of people come back to life like we said... but this time... the people who died once can't come back again."
Also, I'm not tryin' to make you look bad, I just wanted to see if we could get a debate going.

Really? Hmmm....I could have sworn that the dragonballs on Earth were upgraded to bring people back more than once......I guess I mixed up the Namekian ones with the Earth ones in there......How many times was Krillin brought back to life with the Earth Dragonballs? I'm thinking at least twice. Once in Dragonball, when he was killed by either Tamborine or Cymbal, and once after Frieza killed him on Namek when he was brought back on Earth with the Earth ones. Oh, and after Buu ate everyone, how was Krillin brought back from that?

After Buu killed everyone, Dende, Old Kai, and Kabito Kai went to New Namek while Vegeta and Goku were fighting Kid Buu. While there, they used the namekian dragonballs to restore the earth and its people.
there's a quote somewhere that mentions that the Namekian ones were modified after Frieza was defeated to allow for more than one person to be restored to life at one time.

That was when Tamborine killed him in the tournament. ((there is a possibility that Shenron brought him back in GT as well after the super android 17.... but I'm unsure on that one)) Later on, he was restored to life twice by the Namekian ones. 1. When Frieza killed him ((that occured at Capsule corp. when the Nameks were staying there)) 2. When Buu killed him ((the Namekian ones restored all life on earth, if they were good, in that wish))

Ok, thanks! I think I'll make you a partner in this effort, Son_Goshi!
Does anyone else have any questions for me or Son_Goshi?

bardock75 Ok, thanks! I think I'll make you a partner in this effort, Son_Goshi! Hee, thanks.
Oh, for kicks, I'm gonna ask you the hardest question I have ever heard involving the show. And trust me, I don't know the answer to this.... it's all speculation.
My friend asked me this in January (I think): Okay, if the door to the hyerbolic time chamber closes forever if someone stays in there for more that two days, what would happen if someone new came into the chamber right before the 2-day period was up? ((he's simply asking if the chamber would close or not))

Well, first I have to ask you a question: Where did you hear that it would close forever if someone stays in for more than two "real world" days? I never heard that in the show.
But, taking a guess, I'd say that the two day timer would restart. But alas, we'll never know, since Piccolo destroyed the door from the inside, effectively closing off that dimension from the normal one permanently.

bardock75 Well, first I have to ask you a question: Where did you hear that it would close forever if someone stays in for more than two "real world" days? I never heard that in the show. It's mentioned shortly before the Cell Games. Vegeta says that he's gonna use all the remaining days to train in there, but Piccolo cuts him off and explains that the door closes permanatly after being in there for 2 days. I know it's said in both the manga and the anime..... in fact, that episode should be airing in a week or so. ((toonami is showing dbz again and the episode "What is the tournament?" is going to be on Sat.))

I had a random realization last night and here's a question dealing with it:
True or false, Vegeta never got to see Shenron in the dbz series.

I....That is......Hmmmm...You know, I never really wondered that until right now...I don't think he did ever see Shenron. That was a toughie...Wait, Does Porunga count? Although I'm not sure if he ever saw Porunga, either.
