Operation Alchemy Captain

What's weird is that I already thought we had this as a topic!
Anyway, yay Hrithik and Aish together again! smile
Not much is known about the movie yet, but they should be done now with all of the editing.. I'm pretty much disappointed that this movie was pushed back from the beginning of October to the end of January. I've been looking forward to it ever since, like, February, sigh.

Postponed to February 15th... confirmed on apunkachoice.com and indiafm.com So disappointed. I can't wait for this movie and they have to delay it by a few more weeks. Sigh. But there is a subtitled trailer at the official website!! http://jodhaaakbar.com

I love the prospect of my two favourite dancers together and I wonder how I will feel after the music launch! But, I must say I am worried a bit about the chemistry I liked them in Dhoom 2 but the lacked the spark with Ash had with Abhi in Guru or Hrithik with Kareena in K3G.

You guys may think I'm a complete loser, but... you know. Whatever. At least I'm a Bollywood loser, right? razz While I was at the theatre for the second time for Taare Zameen Par, there was the trailer for Jodhaa Akbar that I got to see! biggrin I even got out my camera phone and snapped a photo of Hrithik during the trailer. It's kind of bad quality, but hey, I took it, didn't I? You can kind of see him... the trailer was ending soon and I was afraid that if I didn't hurry it up, I would get no more chances to get a picture of Hrithik. razz

I saw the review for it on TV! It looks so cool! It is about a Mughal Emperor and a Rajput Princess who get married for a politcial reason (an alience between teh two kingdoms) and they learned to somewho love each other and maintain their cultures (Islam and Hinduism respectivly). And some of teh battle scenes are so cool ebcause they had to get 100s of animals for them and create armor and weaponry. Then of course teh scenery of the palace and clothing is breathtaking. Then of course Aish is radiant and lovely being a princess. I want to watch this movie so badly!

Stop whatever you are doing now.
Get up, out of your chair, get to the closest movie theatre, and go see Jodhaa Akbar NOW.
It was the most amazing movie I have seen in such a long time. It was so beautiful and so wonderfully done. It doesn't matter that it has a three hour and twenty minute running time. What matters is that it's incredibly romantic and it makes you LOVE those too few scenes with Akbar and Jodhaa.
The songs were so beautifully done in the movie. They split up some songs into different parts, had some dialogue in the song, but all that did was make it flow even better without an unnecessary song in the movie.
The performances were outstanding. Hrithik was so perfect as Akbar. No one else could have pulled it off as perfectly as he could, not even a younger Shahrukh Khan or Aamir (okay, maybe Aamir could, but he doesn't do period dramas, so it just doesn't fit him!). Aishwarya, as well, was perfect as Jodhaa. She was really able to put Akbar into his place a couple of times.
A perfect movie that everyone should go see now. smile
(AND, as a bonus, Hrithik's shirtless in a scene and he even has bed hair in another scene! Hee!!!)
