Now if we're extremely lucky, they'll bring the makers back together and finally freaking finish the second half of the series.

That's real nice, but suppose they did that just to see how well the ratings would be?...Zim should be brought back with more ads for it and maybe it will get a bigger audience, and have the producers come back together for another season...

maybey a possible comeback but they would have a hard time to get some of the voice actors like richard horvits and kevin mcdonald because they are alread working on other shows

It should come back on a different channel. I just don't think the general Nick audience is right for it.

The only problem with it not really being made for Nick is that, one IZ was made to try to get a more mature audience to start to watch Nick...obviously didn't work well...two, after having lost Doug to Disney, them turning back into a hit show, I highly doubt they'll give up any show to any other company no matter how bad it did on Nick...money speaks my friends...(this issue has been discussed here before I think...or maybe on some other IZ board...or maybe with my IZ adoring friends...hmm...memory is SHOT! sorry)
The other problem with the hope that the heads behind IZ reuniting to continue the show is that there is no guarantee that they'll all come back...nor is there a guarantee that the show will have it's old splender...look at what happened to Ren and Stimpy when they started, years later, to make new episodes after fans on MTV adored it!
I personally, rather see IZ die in glory then have it return and the new shows be complete poo! Merely my opinion, I guess I'm not a very opimistic person haha, but I guess in terms of reality, I rather have the DVD's then have new shows that suck...
Anyone else have an opinion on that?!

I thought Jhonen actually hated working on the show...? They might start the show up again, but I really doubt they'd get back a lot of the behind-the-scenes talent and many of the voice actors. Berman might come back, he seemed really passionate about his role as Dib... but... I dunno. It really seems pretty doubtful to me, although I'd be dancing in the streets if they decided to take up the series again and actually managed to get back some of the talent.
